In previous games, it really mattered what your squad personality was like. When I had a squad filled with "professionals" they always got along just fine with a week of holiday, when i had a young squad that was ambitious, they were NOT okay with a week off. I'd evaluate your squad, figure out their personalities, and make your decision from there.

When you get the A** Man observations during a match, is there someplace that describes what he's referring to?

      Some are pretty self explanatory, but the one I'm not 100% sure on is;

"We are missing too many easy passes."

Does this mean play more direct or try more thru balls?

I believe it means to slow the tempo down.

          Thanks for the reply.

I've tried looking for info on the observations, but so far I have not found much.

This is a pretty good resource that I've constantly referred to. Has observations dating back to FM12.

Another one I'm not quite sure on.

When you're told Player A is misplacing his passes to the opposition, does that generally mean you should try less risky?

From looking at the passing chart, it's easy to see the short v long, completed v misplaced, but other than that what else can help?

Perhaps its foolish, but I ignore those things most of the time. I try to see what my eyes are telling me, and I'll often see those negative messages about a guy who just got an assist or a goal.

This is something that a lot of people are critical of. If I use "push higher up" as an example, how high is that? I'd much rather a line be drawn across the pitch and you could say "this is how high I want you to play" or something similar to that.

The shouts are worse for me, I totally ignore them. Yes, they probably help me, but it doesn't tell you how to specifically help.

Much higher up is the halfline, so push higher up is halfway between the box and the halfline.

A couple questions re: training. Is it normal for all U18 players to be unhappy with their workload? They are all listed as "Very Heavy". Is this a problem or should they just suck it up?

I've been letting my U18 manager handle youth training but wondering if I should take this over myself. He assigns individual training for specific attributes to all the youth players but I've read that it's better to train a role. How do you guys handle this?

I'm far from an expert, but here's my philosophy:
                        • If a player is not part of my regular rotation, he needs to suck it up if training is heavy
                        • If a player is part my rotation and they complain, I will drop workload to medium.
                        • If any player complains about medium, I chat with them telling them to pick it up if they want minutes. 100% success rate.
                        • I train roles 99% of the time, unless there's a strong need to really up an attribute, specifically dribbling for my midfielders.

I usually have a chat with them and tell them to pick it up if they want a chance/remain in first team.

Yes it is. If you can, torrent it. If not, it's split into about a dozen packs.

I was wondering if FM14 lets you do a league with a bunch of different managers?? if yes just the direction I need to go to get it started. or if no is there another version of fm or another game that has it. thanks much.
