Sounds like you need to delete and reinstall the game. The past 2 patches caused some weird stuff for me.

The very last patch (1.13) caused a hitsticking/fumbling issue that you seem to be describing. Reinstalling my game cured this issue.

My issue was both user and cpu teams were hitsticking and causing lots of fumbles.

Even my team after I set my gameplan to conservative tackling they were still hitsticking like crazy.

Are you guys simming weekly training and are there any other rules you use for that? Like only running the red zone drills? Thanks.

The biggest thing this year is that you CANNOT try to execute a bunch of skill moves in traffic. The ONLY time I personally use R1 (and you have to hold it, not tap it) is when I am up late in games when the CPU will use the coach adjustment to strip ball. When using a RB, when I fumble, it's usually because I tried to make a juke/spin too close to the defenders. When I see people on social media crying about fumbles....9 times out of 10, it's because they were foolishly trying to chain together a series of moves in traffic. My rule of thumb, if I have one defender in front of me, I'll try a move (unless ball security is critical). If I have more than 1 defender around, I will just use the left stick.

With QBs...slide...slide...slide.

I've had a couple folks comment that the default setup works well on All Madden. I've yet to try it myself, but I've been pondering doing so for a change of pace.

The usual problem is that All Madden amps up the CPU ratings a bit too much...which narrows the range of probable outcomes. This is most apparent in the CPU passing game where throw accuracy is universally a bit too good. That said, I think if you play smart defense and make good decisions with personnel, it is 100% manageable.

Nope....no workarounds or house rules. I typically sim the drills but only because I find them boring.

This is just blatantly false. I've seen SO many clips and vids from people whining about the All Madden CPU "cheating" and EVERY TIME I can point out one or more things the user did wrong.



Now CPU Player ratings on All Madden ARE tilted towards the CPU - which is the whole point of a 'challenge difficulty'. Are there imbalances? Yes, absolutely. I will never dispute that All Madden has an advantage in terms of ratings. A smart and skilled user should be able to negate that with good playcalling and adjustments.
