It does seem like the CPU is throwing too many INTs and I may not be throwing enough (although I have played with pretty good QBs, but still I've thrown a few bad ones that were dropped.) I do have superstar abilities turned on, to me it's a fun new feature and I like that certain players stand out more. I had a hard time running against Seattle with Cleveland bc Bobby Wagner was all over the place.

It does seem like there are too many big plays and it's kind of one sided. I had 2 TD throws to OBJ where I just beat the guy one on one and he burned him. Granted, he's a top WR in the league and Baker has good ratings in madden as well. Russell Wilson threw 3 picks to the same guy. One thing I noticed is CPU QB doesn't run at all. Idk if that's really fixable. Also the special teams could probably use some sliders, feel like kickoffs are too short, I can punt the ball a mile, etc. etc.

There's a lot of good things I can say about these so far, but I haven't really gotten much of a challenge out of them at least not yet. Maybe there will be games where nothing goes right, and maybe some of them will be closer. But that's what I'd like to see more of a variety.
I was actually seeing the exact opposite. I found myself behind the 8-ball quite a bit. This makes me wonder if the AP MM / AM CFM setup does have an impact... My prior franchise was set to AM across the board.

I was also playing with the Raiders. They are rated very average. The team that you use is significant to your results - as it should be.

I've found that in order to feel a 'challenge' on AP, you need an average to below average team, while in order to compete on AM, you need an above average to elite team. That is a very general statement, but there is something to it.

I'm also a very average Madden player at best. You may very well be a better player than I, which could account for some of the differences in terms of results. 'Challenge' is in the eye of the beholder.

Definitely curious about the main menu difficulty and the importance of HUM ACC. Oh, and superstar abilities! Hoping those are negotiable as I had success with them for awhile and would hate to go back.

Sure, you can certainly use SS abilities with this set.

I am not using them. While I love the concept, they are a bit overdone. The ratings spread applied to Madden 20 gives me the player separation that I have long been looking for.

If SSA are adding to your experiment, roll with them on, by all means.

Call more spy plays on defense. Maybe try user-ing a LB. Use L1 as needed.

That's what Lamar does, though. You have to account for it.

Heck, I'd rather have to account for him running rather than him standing in the pocket like a statue.

Thanks very much for all of your work on the sliders.
Full disclosure: Those that know me best, know that I can be a bit indecisive at times...

Yes, you read that statement correctly re: 45. Upon further review however, I may decide to leave that @ 43, and walk down the CPU defense slightly. Higher QBA for Hum increases offensive production for both the human and the CPU... it's such a fine line.

I'm not 100% sure yet.

This will all be ironed out this week... I apologize for the confusion.

Hope you're able to enjoy the set!

Hey! I wish I could answer that, but I haven’t finished a single season yet!

Its normal for madden. A lot of "older" players regress way to drastically at the end of one season. Qbs , lbs and OLs take the biggest hits when in their 30s from year to year. Logically it makes no sense. Regression should not be so drastic. I saw david from the buccs drop 49 points in 1 season. Smh.

Sadly nothing we can do about it. Madden needs to tune regression.
