What would prevent you from buying Madden 19?

In their defense, there is no other NFL football game. If you really enjoy video game football, their are not a lot of options.

I will not buy it if Franchise mode isn’t improved a lot. I’ve never been as disappointed by a Madden game like I’ve been this year. I can live without it. They better step up big time to get my money.

The best buy deal got me. I traded my game in and then when I started seeing reviews showing the gameplay issues and realized I was better off just playing 17 for another year it was too late. I'm still enjoying the game but it wasn't a purchase I needed to make. I could have had the same experience playing 17.

What would prevent me from buying Madden 19? It being like 18. But I'm 10+ years into going without, so passing on Madden is a given until the animations & AI meet my expectations.

But if you're getting it for $11 like some others do, I don't think it's a bad thing.

The game simply isn't worth $60. But for 20-30 there is real value in it imo, and I consistently refuse to invest in the experience until that entry point is available.

I dig math so if the number of games I play makes the game worth less than $10 per experience then I’m all in. $5 or $10 per relaxation experience is my break even point.

I have to say, after the debacle Madden 18 has been, I am half tempted to go back to M16 (or maybe just M17, since I still have that one) and forgoe upgrading until (if) Madden can come out with an OD release that does not have major issues for offline play.

I mean, Romo does deserve one more shot to win the SB, right?
