Re: The 2006 New York Yankees

Wang got knocked around tonight. Damn, he had been pitching really well lately too.

Wright has been pitching better lately, but I'm not too confident he'll give us anything tomorrow.

At least it looks like Sheffield could return either tomorrow or Wednesday.

Re: The 2006 New York Yankees

And what is up with Giambi. Looked like an MVP in April, May he hasn't done anything. Average is down to .254. ARod still hasn't really gotten going. People talk about him not getting it done in clutch spots. He's not getting it done period so far this year.

Even without Sheffield and Matsui we should be hitting better than we have lately. Jeter, and maybe Cano have been the only 2 who have been really consistent so far.

Needless to say we stayed for the duration in the game and he was incredibly pissed the whole ride home.
That's pretty funny stuff man. I bet you'll be rubbing it in his face for a long time. I know I would.

Re: The 2006 New York Yankees

The Yankees are in trouble. They go in to the offseason knowing that starting pitching is a big question mark and they do absolutley nothing about it.Johnson was shaky at best last year and they thought he would rebound at 43.WTF was Cashman smoking.Thank God for Mussina. This team is old and is starting to show it more than ever.I am very afraid Clemens will be back here, great another 43 year old pitcher.Pitching and defense wins championships and they are not even close in that department.

The last Yankee championship team was built on pitching and defense.Big mistake when they let Pettite go too.

They need to get young fast during the next off season.

ARod hit that dinger off Wakefield and looked up as if he popped it up in the infield

7-1 over the Sux in the 7th.

Either that was the most original home run celebration in baseball history or one of the wierdest things I've ever seen...one of the two.
