I traded Modern Warfare 2 and a few other games to get this one. I have to say this game is much better. It is a lot of fun online and teamwork is needed to succeed.

I love it so far.

Well I was playing in Squad Deathmatch when all of a sudden I got kicked back to the dashboard. I read around and this is a bug that occurs a bit. I hope it doesn't get in the way of me trying to get better at this game. I just started playing it online and I'm not that good as it is, so hopefully this doesn't interfere with me trying to boost my skills.

Two things:

1) Getting booted has only happened to me a few times, so you'll be good there.

2) Remember that getting a lot of kills is not always the quickest route to getting to your next rank. You get points for EVERYTHING in this game, and you need to total package to really boost your stats. Things like; using select to target your enemies for your team to see; using the special abilities of whatever class you choose to heal or supply ammo, etc; hopping in a tank or other vehicle when your team is using one to help get kills; taking OUT an opposing teams vehicle.

It's doing ALL of those things, and more, that will give you points and build your rank. Hell, for example, yesterday I had a game where I had 20 kills, but actually ended up with less skill points than a game previous where I had 13 kills.

I was a huge Men of Valor fan...will Vietnam be a standalone or is BFBC2 needed?

It's an expansion pack for BFBC2, so it does require it. It's online only as well.

WOW! I'm sooooo looking forward to this. I had it for the PC eons ago and it sucked because at the time my PC could barely run it. I just remember always laughing hysterically at a jeeps zooming by with CCR blasting away. LOVE IT and will be all over this.

Winter is way too late to release this imo. MOH will be out, and I doubt that most casuals will be playing this at that time. Fall would be a much better time.
