You can buy physique and other upgrades from the EA catalog with your credits you earn. Those are always good for about 2 or 3 extra ovr levels.

Someone with the playmaker ability? The crosser ability? Someone with a lot of curve or a lot for long passes?

It can be tricky. I always go for curve as long as he has more than 75 for FK accuracy. I just scored one with Boudebouz, he has 79 accuracy and 78 curve. Just enough to get it over the wall and back...
