First News on MLB 15 The Show Coming on December 6th - 7th

First teased back in October with a subtle "Like" by Ramone Russell in a Forum post by seanjeezy, it is now official.

The first news on MLB 15 The Show is scheduled to be announced at the Sony PlayStation Experience on December 6th - 7th in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Re-Vamp franchise mode for the love of God. Franchise mode has become broken

I'd like timing hitting to be a bit more generous. '14 made several improvements when the user is on offense eg more walks, more stolen bases, fewer strikeouts - in all those areas I got sensible stats over the season. BUT I had one of the worst team batting avges (even with sliders in my favour) and only my pitching made me competitive. I still give up too few walks when pitching, but it's hard for the devs to cure this without the user feeling he is being denied control.

Other things - I would like the AI managers to make better decisions - when to bring on relievers etc. Crowd reactions are pretty good but could still do with improvement eg a full house should sound more awesome than a small crowd; I can't hear any difference at the moment.

The two biggest things for me are: A more story like RTTS, aka NBA 2k. And of course, a much improved commentary presentation.

Count me in on the re-vamped franchise mode. I don't need anything earth shattering but just some freshening up. Things like, more contract options, minor league contracts, opt-outs, extensions (in season/mid-contract) etc. Better stat tracking for previous seasons (minor league and ML stats). More immersion in my franchise. Bring back the in-game trade announcements, newspaper of MLB highlights, better commentary and any of the already mentioned upgrades.

please please improve trade logic and free agency logic. Although we have 30 team control to help this, I think its important. I cant tolerate Scherzer signing with COL, or Lester to MIN.

Bring create a stadium to diamond dynasty and this feature could be apart of a relocation feature in franchise. Dedicated servers to online play. The most important one don't make us wait until April or May to get are baseball fix. Bring this game out like in the past, the first week in March

One last thing, non roster invites for spring training. Thosr and the ability to edit fake coaches/managers and the already great game would be unbelievable.

I want weather elements snow for April games, transition from rain to sparkling sunshine back to thunderstorms. Roof closing and opening.

I will be happy with a few stadium updates, plus the ability to turn off HR Celebration Camera, ability to turn off the Blue Circle under fielders, and ability to see more stats when pressing select, like previous MLB the Show games

I absolutely hate the HR Celebration Camera! Why Sony took away the option to turn it off in 14 is beyond me. Even though you don't get the HR Celebration Camera a lot thank god but when it does show up I just hate it as it takes away the excitement and suspense of the Home Run. I never want to see the Home Run Celebration Camera. NEVER!

Just bring back the on/off toggle and all will be right in The Show universe.

I can respect that.
But at the same time, I like the Hitters Eye because it helps differentiate the good from bad hitters.
When playing other games that use this dynamic, I love how a great hitter like Miggy can pick up on pitches better than others. And over the course of a season, it helps keep stats in line with real life.

Also, for people who suck at video games (like me), this gives me a bit of a boost without cheating entirely so I'm not hitting .400 with every single hitter.

I actually feel that Hitters Eye will only add realism to the game.
I'm a bit of a nerd when it comes to reading baseball biographies, and in many of them, the great hitters talk about being able to read the seams on pitches helping them determine what's being served up.

As long as you can shut this option off, I can't see the negative of adding an option like this. It can only help sales.

sad. but its the main reason i didnt get the game last year.

In order of how much I want them

1) Create a Ballpark. It seems like every year I am waiting for this feature to come out. Baseball in unlike any sport when it comes to the stadium, because the actual field makes a difference. I would love to be able to spend hours upon hours perfecting the perfect stadium for my team. If they do end up putting it in the game, it better be fully customizable, and not just a few outfield wall options.

2) Improved Franchise Mode. I would like for there to be a way to relocate a franchise. This could go hand in hand with the Create a Ballpark. When relocating there could be fully customizable jerseys and team name just like in Diamond Dynasty

3) More in depth RTTS. I am not asking for a NBA2k style RTTS with cut scenes every 5 seconds, but it would be nice to make the mode more personal.

4) Instant Replay.

5) Manager Argue Ability.

6) Rain delays and wind

Cannot wait for saturday
