Thanks its been mostly sim games this playoffs. I was hoping I would win without having to go through the stress of playing game 7. Yea My starting 5 all played pretty well.

Finals - Part 1

The Spurs aren't going to blow you away if you just look at overall ratings. However they have been a top team for 3 years in a row now. They are a defense 1st team with 4 A+ defenders highlighted by Ben Simmons and Dejounte Murray. They have scoring and shooting with Rozier and Edwards. They won 65 games this year. They have Simmons to match up with Durant and Murray on Beal so a tough draw.

Spurs take game 1 114 to 100 with Murray being the star with 21-8-7. John Collins was the best player for Washington with 18-6-4 and 5 blocks.

Washington ties it up with a 10-point Victory. The 3% was key Washington 48% compared to just 20% for them. Beal scored 28 on 10 of 17 shooting. Magic dished out 18 assist and had 14 points. Collins was 19 and 9.

A pretty big win in game 3 as Washington takes a 2-1 lead. A rare occurrence saw Washington have more block and less turnovers with 6 of those blocks coming from Durant. Beal again was the leading scorer with 30 points on 13 of 22 shooting. Magic like always flirted with a triple double 18-7-16.

San Antonio ties it up in game 4 with a big 130-to-97-point win. This time it was them who won the 3% game 46 compared to 26%. Simmons had a big triple double 25-11-10 and Murray wasn't far behind with 24-5-8.

A heartbreaking loss as San Antonio wins 105 to 101 with no standout performances for Washington. Ben played well on defense and offense with 19-7-7. However, the star was a surprise in 34-year-old Davis Bertans. He scores 25 points on 4/5 from 3 and hit all 13 FT's. He has spent the last 4 years on the Spurs and been a great role player shooting over 40% from 3.

Well it's do or die time and Washington does and hangs on to force a game 7 by the hair of their chinny chin chin. A 2-point victory with a John Collins scoring the game winning basket on a dunk off a pick and roll pass from Magic as time basically expired. Their starting 4 Doug Edwards has 21 points. Magic filled up the stats with 19-7-8 and 5 steals with Collins getting 18 and 7. Rodam had one of his better games with 8 and 15. Forbes was big off the bench scoring 16

Well that's all for now and we will close this series out on game 7 tomorrow.

Re: NBA 2K - Georgiafan's 3 year realistic rebuilds / remasters

Finals - Game 7

Well folks this it the last game of this whole thing 0 titles in 5 years between 2 teams and that can change tonight.

San Antonio starts out on a 7-0 run then gets even hotter after that and it becomes 16-4. Unfortunately for Washington things would get worse and the lead would go all the way to 22 to 6. San Antonio was scorching hot shooting 71% from 3. Washington had that feeling in their stomach like Boston in the finals a few years back where they just weren't going to miss, and nothing could be done about it.

Thankfully things would calm down after that and when the 1st quarter ended the lead was "only 10". Beal hits a 3 and cuts the lead to 4. Rozier was doing most of the damage for them and had 18 points in the mid 2nd. Thats when we went to Alex Caruso guarding him an A+ defender freeing Magic up to guard Murray. San Antonio took a 11-point lead into the locker room.

Washington came out ready to play in the 3rd a 10-2 run after a Porzingis dunk. Collins picked up his 4th foul pretty early and would have to go to the bench. The 3rd quarter saw the all-bench lineup do its job and give the starter about 3 minutes of rest to close the quarter. Washington was down 6 ending the 3rd quarter.

Beal hits a 3 and cuts the lead to 6 with 7 minutes in the game. Just a little later Durant picks up his 5th foul which obviously he will stay in the game. A surprise came at the 4-minute mark back-to-back baskets by Rodman to give Washington a 1-point lead.

Collins has a mismatch down low and plays bully ball for the basket. The lead was just 1 little point with 2:41 remaining. Rodman gets the defense rebound and it ends up a corner 3 for Durant to make a 4 point lead. However starting PF Doug Edwards would answer that 3 and it was back to 1 point with 1:23 on the clock.

After a spurs basket Beal misses a mid-range jumper. Then Murray gets a putback Washington found themselves as nervous as could be down 3 with just 55 seconds in game 7. Magic scores on a layup to cut the lead to 1. Then Edwards misses a 3 and Magic gets the rebound. Washington has to score here and Magic calls a pick and roll and doesn't give it up and scores a layup with 15 seconds on the clock.

So let's reset things here Washington is up 1 point with it being San Antonio's ball with just 15 seconds remaining.

We would obviously prefer to be on offense for the final possession, but that's not the case here. Everything comes down to this final possession and to say we are nervous would be a massive understatement. We obviously put in our defense lineup so Caruso then Durant and Porzingis are in for size. We were torn on the last spot and decide to keep Rodman in incase we need a rebound.

The time has came to start the possession. 400+ hours of playing this game and if we go out as champions or in a heartbreak comes down to if we can get 1 stop. Instead of me talking about it lets go the video to watch the final seconds

Collins mismatch

Durant's corner 3

What a game.

The Spurs had a golden opportunity to dump the ball inside to #10 on a pick and roll but didn't take it. Maybe they thought it was too early in the clock, but points are better than no points.
