Okay, here are some options. Obviously things might be different in your franchise regarding injuries and standings, so take that in account when looking at these deals.

I tried to focus around middle IF with some contact and speed and 1B with some power.

Frazier (2.5) to ARI for Walker (2.9)
Frazier (2.5) to LAD for Rios (0) and 2.5 mil prospect / player
Frazier (2.5) to COL for Hampson (-0.7) and 3 mil player / prospect.

Kelenic (40.7) to CLE for Gimenez (20), Civale (19.2), and someone worth 1 mil.
Kelenic (40.7) and a lotto ticket to NYM for McNeill (20.4), Mauricio (20.8), Don Smith (0)

Flexen (7.7) to ARI for Walker (2.9) Melancon (3.7) and someone worth 1 mil.
Flexen (7.7), Frazier (2.5) to CLE for Miller (9.2) and someone worth 1 mil.

Gonzales (-7.7) and prospect / player worth 1 mil to Angels for Fletcher (-6.6)
Gonzales (-7.7) to Twins for Sano and player / prospect worth 2-3 mil

I like some of the suggestions, I am really locked in with not adding a starter since I got Sasaki, Kirby, Hancock, and Oyokawa on the way in rapid ascension. Sasaki and Oyokawa were two of my Int'l FA signings. I am pretty set on Kelenic to the Guardians and was looking at a few of their younger guys (Gimenez, Arias, Freeman, Valera, Rocchio, Kwan). Just trying to see what the best fits are long-term. I like the idea of Kelenic and Macko for Arias and Valera as one option. Sano presents a good option too, as a DH. Colorado makes the most sense for Frazier listed bc Ideally I would wanted to send him somewhere where he starts considering he's hovering around .295 avg 40 games in and I don't feel like LAD he would start.

Yea Kelenic to Cleveland makes too much sense. You could swap Frazier for the speedier Hampson who can run and play multiple positions. You could take on a prospect to even the values

Gonzales and Flexen you could use to get some power / add more prospects.

Re: MLB The Show 22 Trade Discussion Thread

Just continuing to scour the trade market leading up to the deadline to see what other options are available to me. Came up with a few deals as the Tigers, Cubs and Pirates are looking out of the race early.

Toronto gets: Grossman (3.7), Hill (0.6), Joe Jimenez (0.1).
          Detroit gets: Leo Jimenez (4.6)

Toronto gets: Contreras (11), Happ (22), Robertson (0).
Cubs get: EITHER Martinez (34.4) OR Jansen (24.5), Pearson (9.1).

Toronto gets: Happ (22), Robertson (0), Schwindel (1.4).
Cubs get: Groshans (14), Pearson (9.1), Frasso (0.3).

Toronto gets: Bednar (32.3), Gamel (2.9), Mitchell (1.7).
Pittsburgh gets: Kirk (28), Pearson (9.1)

          Toronto gets: Reynolds (72.3)
Pittsburgh gets: Moreno (67.1), Jimenez (4.6), Cook (0.6)

Any feedback on these deals would be appreciated! Thanks very much.

I will start by asking if you are using 30 team control in your franchise? If so, I would go ahead and sign off on the Pirates deals, with the assumption that Moreno gets flipped for a package of other prospects because they just drafted Henry Davis #1 last year and he is projected to stay behind the plate long-term. As for as the Cubs deal, why not roll them into one where you take back Contreras, Schwindel, Happ and Robertson?

Yea I have 30 team control on. What would the deal look like for those 4 from the Cubs? Just all of the players I listed ??

I would say Jansen, Pearson and Frasso. Although Martinez for all 4, the value is good too.

Generally speaking... what is Christian Yelich's worth? Still on the brewers and he is not doing anything for me in a year and a half. Hitting around .205, would love to move his contract. Is he worth a MLB player and a mid rated prospect?

Baseball trade values has him at a -109.4 value, so I will say that he is pretty much unmovable. I did come up with one possible suggestion to be able to move off that deal.

Nationals get: Yelich (-109.4). Luis Urias (43.4), 2B Tyler Black (6) and RHP Erceg (1.7) TV -58.3
                    Brewers get: Patrick Corbin (-58.6)

Would a Correa to the White Sox trade be reasonable?

With the opt outs in his contract, I assume the plan for the Twins is to trade Correa at the deadline if they are not leading the division. But would they trade him within the division?

Correa is only valued at $9m on BTV right now and will likely have suitors at the deadline so I'd be happy to pay over the odds for him.

Probably unlikely but if they did, I would pay a little over pay to get him. Oscar Colas/Yoelqui Cespedes and Romy Gonzalez prolly gets it done.

Correa has been updated and almost doubled in value lol.

Intra-division trades are rare but this seems to be a unique scenario. Correa can just opt out after this year IRL and sign wherever, including with the White Sox. If I'm the Twins, I'm squeezing every last bit of value out of him at the deadline, regardless of the team I'm trading with.

I'm only a handful of games into a new save so I'll see what the situation is at the deadline. Appreciate the response!

Very nice! I am more then a 1/4 of the way in and I decided to make the trade deadline come a little bit early in my 30 team control franchise to spice things up a little. Made the following trades so far!

LAD trades SP Tyler Anderson to NYY for 1B Greg Bird
SEA trades OF Jarred Kelenic and SP Levi Stoudt to CLE for OF George Valera and SS Gabriel Arias
NYY trades SP Deivi Garcia to SEA for SS Erick Mejia
SEA trades SP Chris Flexen to CWS for SP Norge Vera
DET trades RP Michael Fulmer to STL for OF Trejyn Fletcher and RP Andre Pallante
NYY trades OF Miguel Andujar to CIN for 1B Leo Seminati
CHC trades C Willson Contreras to HOU for RP Cristian Javier and OF Pedro Leon
OAK trades SS Elvis Andrus to PHI for OF Marcus Lee Sang
WAS trades 1B Josh Bell to SF for OF Hunter Bishop
WAS trades 2B Darren Baker to MIL for 1B Keston Hiura

Still got some more deals to make though, need a switch hitter bench bat and a prolly a lefty power bat off the bench. Rocking all righties off bench with exception of Toro. Targeting Willi Castro from DET as that switch hitter off the bench but gunna keep looking around too. Still also considering the hampson deal for Frazier that was suggested although would like to get back another lefty, don't wanna be too righty heavy and frazier is one of my only lefty bats. Really curious to see how the cpu sims treat Hiura and Andujar as both are great change of scenery guys. I might look around the bigs to see if I can think of any other possible guys (Gleyber really sticking out to me) who need a change of scenery to jumpstart their career.

Valera just hit the walk off hr to win the WS for me in game 7 so I'd turn that one down lol 😆
