Nothing has made me actually want to play this game online more than reading this games actual forums at the shownation. Every post is just full of people that think theyre special because they have an internet connection. People with losing records year after year but talk down to people if they like to play offline or asked about a specific card they had trouble hitting with. That place should be nuked.

Ripken, Chipper, Pujols, Griffey, Vlad...all of these Immortals have been discovered already. Unreal.

I've moved on to Franchise only for a while now, just popped back in to see these new career arcs and stuff. Cannot believe how much time people put into one mode in one game. The guy that unlocked Chipper has played DD for the equivalent of 30 DAYS?!?! The game has only been out for 93 days!

Man alive...

Yeah those reliever ones are ridiculous. Im not bothering with any of that I dont think. Its just not worth the time, and then you have cards like that Alomar one that are insanely useless. Too much other stuff coming out in the fall that will be worth my time way more.

When I first saw the missions on the stream I just thought to myself "This is just a dev kit and those are random numbers, it can't be real"

Damn it was so real

And when people kept asking about "when are these next wave of arcs going to be released?" They kept saying they were putting the finishing touches on it. So it seems like they're just making up things as we go. And this is what they came up with? Man I just want to simply talk to the people behind this decision and just ask them why they do things the way they do them. It's been said a bunch already but here's another +1 to them horribly mismanaging this. And I don't even have online franchise to fall back on!

Aye, not only are they stupidly long, they are all the bloody same! It can't have taken 20 minutes to knock them together, every single one has the exact same missions but with ever so slightly different numbers attached. How that took months to come up with, I'll never know

I just tried playing RTTS. Between the PCI issues and squaring up balls for outs, mixed with starting with crazy low ratings, that got extremely boring after about 5 games of spraying line drives at every fielder out there.

I guess if we did 4-5 games a day, we could get one pitcher and one hitter complete within 8-10 days. I suppose in the grand scheme of things that doesn't sound like the worst but then you remember it's basically what we did for a large chunk of the first few months and have to do it again

I feel like I'm trying to battle my annoyance with trying to reason. Conflicts lol

Just had CC mission done along with a bunch of catcher stats grinded out and got disconcerted from the show....the last little bit of drive I had left just got disconnected with that game

I don't think I could play the game that much in one sitting if I wanted to.

I could. I have. And it's awful.

Well, it's not totally bad. Kind of depends on your schedule. If you got a spouse and kids---you got no chance lol. But when I had a week-long staycation that's when I ground the hell out of conquest extreme. But I also got TV and podcasts to accompany me so it's not the worst.

Also, I forgot you gotta grind with common/bronze/silver. Add another few days for that!

I don’t know how the hell they did it....Ive been trying to grind doubles with Ripken for almost 2 months. A few other stats missions taking forever. The idea of having to load my roster up with a certain position and just mindlessly play on rookie is not appealing or fun. Whomever had this brainstorm should be fired. Less is more.

Congrats!!! I'm so nervous to even play my next game sitting at 895. I'll be so demoralized if I lose lol. Who wants to try and snipe and give me a W?!?!?!

I'm trying to knock out the Duke Snider ASAP. I'm on a "day off" today but working some OT...then going to Vegas 7/4-7/10...so it'll take a back seat to life.

I'm off Sat-Mon so Monday I'm probably going to be a huge loser and play this game until my eyes bleed and then a nice 7 day break from it.

So glad I have thurs-sun off!

Got my CAP “Craig Biggio” catcher to 85 just now. Put him on power for now, and he’s at 76/75 contact, 101/101 power thanks to some dumb luck gold bat I pulled. Effectively no point in going for any catchers at this point.

Aside from that, grinding hard for Rob Nenn, C.C. & duke snider.

One more HR and I’ll have the gold snider unlocked. Once all three programs are done I’ll have Nolan & Wagner. Things are looking up.

Forgot. Also slowly working on Frank Thomas. But not an immediate focus

On a side note, glad I sold off a ton of crap to complete that Verlander monthly reward. Applied the program to snider instead of waisting Stubbs on souveniers
