chuck....I ignore the warnings until the bar is way, way down....especially if my player is on a roll. They can play with stamina pretty low.
You could raise the durability attribute on a bunch of your regulars as well. I do.

Well I'm into August, made another trade, got Stephen Drew, but gave away my top Position Prospect in Hak Ju Lee.

      Spoiler
Don't you EVER read my blog? It's gotten a lot better.

Alright thanks a lot Knight, Love your and everybody who helped you's rosters! Those fictional rosters sounds like a load of fun though.. Just being dropped into a fantasy world of baseball and not being biased towards a player at all.

          Franchise Update:

Just Finished off a triumphant sweep of the RedSox. Games 1-3 were decided by 1 run. Game 4 was a blow out, 9-1 to be exact. Now it's on to the World Series to face the Rockies. I might change the difficulty from All-Star to Hall of Fame, just because I've never won consecutive games against the RedSox let alone, win 4 in a row. I'm ready though

Ended my Brewers' 2011 season 90-72, 10 games behind the Cardinals for the Central crown, but tied with the San Diego Padres for the Wild Card. One game for the right to go to the playoffs, Wade LeBlanc vs Yovani Gallardo. The video speaks for itself:

            <table><tr><td><iframe width="560" height="349" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/byp7OH4ZivQ" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe></td></tr></table>

And for my troubles, I get to face the Phillies in the first round. San Francisco faces St. Louis.

In the AL, the Yankees face the Angels, while Detroit plays Boston.

That must have been one heck of a game. Wish you the best of luck in the playoffs.

Care to explain the circumstances? I RARELY get outfield assists, rather it be LF-to-3rd to RF-to-Home.

Just like IRL, my Pirates have reached the All-Star Break....The record currently sits at 58-34, 1GB of STL...I have a team BA of .271 and a team ERA at 3.48...Garrett Jones leads my power department with 20 HR's.....i have 6 guys in double-digits for homers and nobody has more then 48 rbi's....Maholm, Ohlendorf, and McDonald have 9 wins each and none of their ERA's tops 3.17...I'm THIS close to getting rid of my *ace* Correia whose 5-4 with a 4.59....My bullpen's being anchored by Resop with a 4-0 1.49 and Moskos with a 1-2 but a respectable 2.41...Surprisingly, my setup guy Meek and closer, Hanrahan, each have close to 4 and a half era's which isn't acceptable....can't get on hanrahan too much as he leads the majors with 37 saves

2 were sharp grounders. Runner tried to go from 1st to 3rd on both occasions.

The third was a line drivd off the RF wall. I took a good angle on it and just got the runner trying for two bases.

Maybe my outfielders need to get better arms! LOL.

Pence must have a cannon, gosh.

                              GMO's - Cleveland Indians Franchise

Figured I'd start a Cleveland Indians franchise. There is a good core of young talent but it will still take a few seasons to get them to be a real contender in the AL. The goal is to be a 500 team in season number one. I'm playing HOF-Timing/HOF-Classic with my custom sliders and camera's.

I will play about 5 games (more if needed), to get a feel for some of the players and have a hands role on the lots of position battles that will take place.

The most intriguing is at 3rd base with 3 rookies all in the running. The teams top prospect Lonnie Chisenhall is the favorite. Also, who will be the #3,4,and 5 pitchers is another interesting battle. There are about 5 young pitchers who will be competing for the jobs.

                                Game 12 played: Polo Grounds

Can you have an important series in April?
Considering how closely my Mets(11-1) and the Braves are built....I don't see why not....and that's the Mets next opponent...the 9-3 Braves.
Still on a roll......the Mets swept the Rockies in a four game series. The final game was not an easy take though as it was a back and forth pitched battle throughout the game. Staked to an early 3-0 lead in the first Met pitcher Bryant Walker(1-0) gave up 2 runs in the top of the second and then again in the top of the fourth to put the Mets behind 4-3. The Mets tied it in the 6th and then took the lead in the 7th.....only to lose the lead in the 8th. They ten tied it in the bottom of the frame....
But in the bottom of the ninth....OF Jay Stapleton led off the inning with a lead off double....advanced to third on a ground out to second base and then scored on a walk off single by OF Hank Borders.
CP Wade Slinger who pitched the top of the ninth got the win to go 1-0 with a league leading(tied with Atlanta's closer) 6 saves.

                                Next up...the Braves.
