The thing is i play with HQ -6 and Power +1 should i down more this?
and the other thing im not getting fielding errors just throwing what should i do. Thanks
Bring the hit quality down to -8, power to default, where do you have vision set at? Make sure it is at -6. Do you have pitch speed at +2?

As far as fielding errors, the slider does not seem to be too effective. I think this needs to be done with player edits unfortunately.

As Lowe mentioned, I use classic this year.

        Hey Nemesis,
Great Slider set, bringing hit quality down to 2 along with the plate vision adjustment has finally made hitting seem like a challenge just when I was about ready to give up, finally feels like HOF hitting level now. I ended up doing mass outfield edits for every team, lowering reaction time and fielding ability by 30 clicks each. This along with your set seems to have solved the extra-base hit problem. Now if only I could find a fix to the intentional walk bug, where everytime the cpu intentionally walks one of my batters it freezes. I wish there was an edit or slider for that! Thanks again

As far as being able to check swing better, that could be a byproduct of adjusting the vision slider. If you increase the players ability it may allow them to hold up better. It definitely could be possible.
I think I am going to go back to your original plate vision setting and see if I can check swing as well as I have been lately. Maybe I have been check swinging better just because as I play more I am getting better at judging balls and strikes, and holding off on the x button. I will let you know after testing more what I think about vision affecting check swings. I'm still using meter with command at -10 and your movement settings, and feel like it is working out really well. I pitched a 1 hitter and struck out 10 with Carlos Zambrano my first game, and was wondering, but then Ted Lilly got shelled when I didn't hit my spots in the second game.

Their on the about cpu pitch control slider last post on the last page.
RAZRr looking forward to your pitch speed adjustments in the future. What do you think Kerry Wood's pitch speeds for his pitches should be now that he is a closer. I have seen him hit 98,97 mph on the radar gun in games, but SCEA doesn't seem to have him near that velocity.
I am doing great with Nemesis pitch sliders (not drawing enough walks yet, but alot of that is my own discipline because the opportunities have been there), but would you mind posting the current Brunnoce pitch sliders that you are using? And how different are they?

I've come to the conclusion that the OF Speed slider definitely works. Put -3 for both the human and CPU players and you can see (and feel) the difference.

I know I really missed the boat here (but, I just leave it a Default, and it doesn't come on for All Star of Hall Of Fame), but what exactly is API? And should I just leave it at Default (which I guess is off for All Star or HOF)?

Re: HOF Sliders (Project Nemesis MLB 08)

Just finished my 4th game with these sliders. I did a couple minor tweaks: I changed HUMAN POWER from -1 to default and lowered PITCH SPEED a little (couldn't recognize pitches too well), but kept everything else the same. I did this after scoring a total of 3 runs in 3 games against the Blue Jays (W1-0, L4-0, L3-2) and simply being frustrated . These sliders rule...I just suck .

Anyway, the result: Beat the Rays 5-4 and hit 3 HRs in the game (granted, it was Edwin Jackson and the Rays bullpen; if I continue to hit 3 bombs a game, I will go back to -1 POWER).

Here's the quirky thing (may be a game glitch)...A-Rod hit a walk-off, 3-run HR in the Bot of 9th so I should have won 7-4. However, the camera showed him stopping at 1st base in celebration, instead of rounding the bases and getting mobbed by his teammates at home (I'm still waiting to see this cutscene on the game). As a result, the game scored it a GW RBI single, not a HR . Dave Campbell even called it a "base hit" in the Play of the Game replay. A-Rod (who hit a 2-run HR earlier in the game) was given 1 HR and 3 RBI for the game, instead of 2 HR's and 5 RBI. The final score was 5-4, not 7-4.

Shades of Robin Ventura in the NLCS!

Can somebody help me here?? When Nem is saying, for example, -10 on hitting is he saying to take your slider to the right or left. I am so confused right now

Yes. 10= default, so -10 would be all the way to the left.

Nem, just thought that I'd let you know that the newest roster update had no effect, at least imo, on your sliders. Played 2 games with the new roster update..both exhibition.

                            actually 0=default!

Anything to the right of default would have a + in front of it and anything the the left would have a - in front of it.
