Lowering the foul frequency slider will slightly increase strikeouts and increase fouls caught instead of going out of play.

CPU got sliders are five except solid hits at 4, and my pitching control is at 6.

Re: Armor & Sword & Marino’s MLB The Show 19 Classic/Directional Simulation Sliders
Finally decided to give the clean screen approach a shot and boy, I'm glad I did. Talk about an incredible experience. It takes some time adjusting, such as you need to know your pitcher's pitches and so forth, but it's awesome.
One thing I'll mention when hitting with a clean screen, I am able to judge a pitch better and lay off more often. Something about having a strike zone on the screen is a detriment that seems to make me chase more, so that's one thing I noticed right off the bat with a clean screen.
Pitching is going to be quite more challenging and I'm looking forward to that!Comment

Yes. Playing against the Nationals I’m very careful with Soto and Rendon. Pitched around Soto 3 times yesterday and struck out Matt Adams the next batter all 3 times.

Re: Armor & Sword & Marino’s MLB The Show 19 Classic/Directional Simulation Sliders
What is everyone’s thoughts so far on CPU fouls at 2? I’m still interested in increasing strikeouts but not at the risk of giving up fewer hits. I already lead the league in fewest hits and runs allowed, but I’m 27th in strikeouts.
As I’ve said before, I need a) more strikeouts and b) the CPU to have a higher BABIP.

With foul frequency at 2 and solid hits at 5 I think it's perfect. I also have my pitch control at 4 and consistency at 6.

Definitely seeing an improvement with CPU Foul at 2. Was able to strikeout the side twice in a row with Nola...haven't been able to do that yet in 19.
And still saw good hits and scoring from the CPU.Comment

I then tried Josh1997's all-star approach and after 4 games I am enjoying the games. The cpu actually swings and misses, a novel concept I know! I am 2-2 and the game has a real genuine feel on that level. Nothing feels 'over-the-top' like HOF and Legend felt to me.Baseball junky....Comment

Re: Armor & Sword & Marino’s MLB The Show 19 Classic/Directional Simulation Sliders
I was quite frustrated with foul balls and the lack of k's on both HOF and Legend (both of which I had spent all my time since launch.) It came to a head for me when I was using Hendricks against the Mets and they fouled off 20 pitches in the first two innings including DeGrom on five straight pitches with a 3-2 count...

So HOF is where we and a lot of us are at. Glad your enjoying All-Star.

Agreed. I’d win 130 games on All-Star.

This has probably been mentioned somewhere in the 145 pages of replies....but I'll ask anyway.
What current rosters is everyone using? I assume the Full Minors 19....
Thanks in advance!!Comment

Armour, have you settled on cpu foul frequency on 2, while leaving everything else the same including cpu solid hits at 4? ThanksYankees modern day
