Absolutely game breaking bug in the new patch.

When you exit out and quick manage a game (I do this a lot during blowouts) none of the stats are recording from the innings you played. All hits, HR, RBI and all pitcher stats are being completely wiped while the score stays the same. When the game ends I go to the stats screen and sure enough my guys who got RBI, HR, K's etc aren't getting credit for them. Unfortunately it's a pretty much game breaking bug for franchise mode if you quick sim any games.

My softball team did this once. The team we were playing was being very cocky and running up the score in a blowout, so one of our guys intentionally got ejected in the 5th inning. We didn’t have a replacement so by league rules it was a forfeit and the other team’s stats didn’t count. They were quite angry.

Yikes! Started my franchise over with OP sliders (HOF) and post patch. Beat the Orioles 14-0 on 17 hits and 9 homers. Wind was blowing out to RF at 10.3 mph. Looking ditto game 2!

Yeah I don't agree with the op personally. I think power and timing at 6 is to much I have them at 5 with solid hits at 6. I average 7 hits and 4.2 runs a game with Boston. I also CPU solid hits at 6 makes it more fun for me cause you got to pitch to Corners more and not afraid of walking good hitters.

This isn't a new patch issue, I've been experiencing this bug since release but quite rarely so I never know exactly what set of circumstances causes this when you switch between normal gameplay and quick manage. I think it has something to do with the bullpen and changing pitchers using both the d-pad and quick manage in the same game.

In the half dozen or so times it's happened to me the game stats reset after a pitching change late game, and the closer usually ends up the star of the game with his IP and save being recorded and both teams batters logging either 0 or 1 at bat. I never notice until minutes later when I see the stadium big screen in the background displaying the current batter as 0-0 in the game.

Strangely enough the game logs every pitcher that has played prior to the wipe of stats so they all just have 0.0IP but the winning and losing pitchers keep their decision despite not logging innings or stats of any kind.

I’ve always trusted Armour’s sliders with great results so I’m not going to make any slider adjustments based on one game. And, it is the Yankees at home against the Orioles. But the 9 homers in a game does raise a bit of a red flag. Hopefully get a chance to play game 2 tonight

Didn't really know where else to post this because it's not quite a fit for the stickied threads, but I had this crazy random blip of a moment just now. The combination of ball physics and reaction speed of the umpire as the catcher waits helplessly made me laugh my *** off all the way to 2nd base.

I might have to agree with you. After winning 14-0 in game 1 and hitting 9 homers, I’m up 9-1 in game 2 after 4 innings, on 11 hits and 3 more homers. In 13 innings Judge has 4 homers and Voit has 3. Yes, it’s the Orioles and their 30th ranked pitching. Yes, it’s only 13 innings. But still seems that increasing human timing and power to 6 are too much. The Orioles got 5 hits in game 1 - only 1 extra base hit. In game 2 after 4 innings they have 2 hits including a solo homer. I’m going to put timing, power and solid hits back to default for both human and cpu. And yes, I will likely start my franchise over again

Honestly the set that’s been best for me to was the first set where everything was default except foul freq and solid hits, which were at 4. I’m still using that actually!

I’m usually pretty locked in by now, but this year seems a bit harder to find that sweet spot. I’m leaving solid hits for both human and cpu at default. For human to maybe compensate for lowering power and timing from 6 to default. For the cpu, I think they need a bit more “oomph” especially since raising human pitching control and consistency to 6 (which was needed). I like cpu foul frequency at 3 and 4 for human. Hopefully this is my sweet spot and I can start my franchises and never look back

I decided to move on from slider adjustments now. The first 2 games were great. Hit variety is awesome. Had one hit which hit the first base and jumped over the 1B into the outfield. Both games were very close. Won the opener 2-1 in the 10th with the Giants in San Diego. They then got revenge with a Walk-Off 2-run-shot in the 9th to win 5-4.
Strikeouts are still a bit too low but I guess there is room to improve for me in Pitching and for the CPU there will also come better pitchers. Padres pitching is not exactly the hardest I will face during the season.
