Oh, that won’t work for PS5 to my knowledge. I was thinking digital copies can be cross platform if you purchase the right one that allows it.

I know current gen Xbox games like The Show won’t work on next gen Series X

Absolutely LOVE this slider set!! I did use the advice of dropping fastball and off speed pitches to 4 and it’s helped my hitting. With “timed” hitting, does the left thumbstick do anything? Seems like when I don’t touch it and swing I get a little better contact than when I revert to my PCI days and try to line up the pitch. Just curious!! Thanks for all the feedback on this thread, it’s been great checking in every day and has really helped me 🤜🤛

If you are using timing hitting the left stick doesn’t do anything. You just swing.

Thank you! That’s what I thought, wanted to double check though, thanks again!

Anyone have an idea how to slow down so many simulated game pitchers going for complete games? It’s really something..

Stamina works fine as set in the sliders but maybe increase Hook for simulated games?

CG’s while simming has always been a challenge with the MLBTS series.

I am leaning toward putting SP hook up to 6 (from 4) for played games (assuming I want to mirror real life of SP’s barely lasting 4 innings), and keeping RP hook at 10.

Based on that, maybe run a test with hook at 7 or 8 for sim games and see how the SP CG and IP stats look after 162?

It’s a delicate balance, because if u cut down on SP innings than the RP appearances and IP #’s are going to be way to high.

MLBTS doesn’t do a good job of calling up or sending down RP’s, so unless there is an injury, RP appearances and IP #’s are always too high.

                I need some help

                Just got my PS5

First thing I do is go to settings and download live rosters. Then I save roster

Then I start a franchise and load saved rosters.

Just to make sure I have the right roster I go to the Cubs and Suzuki is not there.

                What am I doing wrong?

Be sure to load either the latest live rosters, which does include Suzuki, but I don't like the ratings they gave, or load a roster from the vault like Ant Ortiz V2. Then save that roster. When you start your franchise, either load the live roster, or a saved roster that you saved after downloading adding it from the vault.

I know I'm super late to this, but I had no idea remote play on the phone was a possibility. I've discovered it and got it all set up. So the kids were outside in the yard playing and of course I'm sitting on the porch playing the show on my phone while keeping an eye on them. The wife came home from work took one look at me shook her head. Needless to say she's not as excited about the possibilities this opens up as I am.

As for the sliders I'm not having such a good time with pitching on hall of fame. I need to play with some better pitchers to confirm I don't just suck. The best pitcher on my team is only a 80 overall so it's rough. I feel like o never have any idea where the pitch is actually going to go =/

So I had been testing hook at 4 for starters and like it at 5 much better.

                          So it won’t be changed.

1.5 is feeling and playing fantastic.

I really like the hitting sliders. The one thing that seems a little fast is the fielder and baserunner settings.......always seems like infielder arm strength is overpowered...i.e. the ability to throw across the diamond from deep SS or 3B. Have u found it to be like this? Just trying to find a balance ya know.

I know these sliders are built for a "play every inning for all 162" style of play, but I wondered what adjustments you think would be necessary for a "Simulation Sliders" if people like using your sliders for manually-played games but who want to simulate some of their games (e.g., play 1 game, sim 2 games) to move through a season more quickly.

I know Cycloniac with the TrueSim Roster usually releases two sets of sliders (one for manual games, one for simmed games), and I wonder how these 1.5 sliders might need to be adjusted for simming.

In my small sample size experience, I've thought the same thing about infield arm strength. I think the results are okay (i.e., feeling like double plays and throws across the diamond are getting people out / safe appropriately), but the throws look like lasers to my eye. (I'm not as concerned about the look, as long as the results seem to be "correct.")
