They know, i have been informed as well. the dev's know about it. I post over at OS alot, i love this place. I been straight up with everyone here.

Any idea of when we could expect a patch? It seems a small patch to fix crucial issues like this would be good, and then a bigger patch later to take care of other less pressing stuff.

Dude is kind of a scrote from what I've seen. I think that forum pretty much sucks. I like this place because, despite a lot of pre-release bitching (I'm guilty), all those people have now turned their energy towards a fix.

But the issue I see here is that IE has nothing to do with ratings..

It dont matter if you set the walk to 100 for each player...the IE is not running on roster edits...It is a tendecy based on scouting reports

I agree that is all out of sync when you see that Dunn has a bunt Edge of A....but that has nothing to do with his rating..

Is a scouting edge report...

I zeroed out the inside edge and turned it off..

I am now playing vs the Nats as my Mets and put all hitters for the Nats at 95 for walks...

This is just a test for now..

In the first Inning I just threw 22 pitches with Santana..

the hitters were taking more pitches....

I might upload the roster i have now so you guys can play vs the Nats...

No clue, i was just told, that they are aware and are working on fixing this asap. Thats what i was told.

Hmm...maybe if I have time (decide to stop studying for midterm) I'll have to give this a shot. If it works, then hell, maybe the damn living rosters could fix it.

yea it works and i think 2k knows thats what there going to have to do is increase the draw walks in a roster update

Does increasing the walk ratings also increase the taken strikes though? And will they never swing out of the zone after that?

It's about taking all pitches, not just drawing walks.

Bug said in the other post on this now that he struck out two guys looking. I will have to try this myself. It wouldn't be too hard to edit a team or two if this does work...but the whole damn lot could take some time.

Guys is important to note that this is not going to fix the a.i take strike issue..

the draw walk rating is for players to have better eyes when throwing outside the k zone...

so if you were throwing junk to fool the hitter out of the zone..they now lay off more..

my pitch count is higher now...i am currently playing vs the edited Nats roster

I am the mets and winning 5-1 and have 8 k's in 5 innings

i also tweak more sliders...

I'm confused. See, my concern is getting strikes looking, and Ks looking. Are you seeing any improvement in this at least, or if something is deliberately in the zone do they still swing away every time?

EDIT: In essence, are your strikeouts swinging or are you actually catching them looking?
