said something interesting yesterday on a radio interview..
when asked about the team's issues with it's pitching, he said it's "...an issue for those (out there) that are just searching for something to talk about...we don't pay attention to that stuff...we put our work in and do what we have to."

I know this, but I'm glad he said it...
the mentality of many is that they really think the players are gonna live their lives and prepare before games because of what the fans say, the media writes or what the talkies (FRANCESA) talk about?

I think it's funny...I keep reading in this thread from Mets fans that the team has "no heart" and "doesn't care" when they lose or cough one up, but when they have come back wins like against my Braves the other day or last night against the Giants I don't see those same folks in here posting...interesting
