grown man...whining their pathetic asses off over moves that happened two weeks ago, six years ago....

Mets had won 7 game sin a row and the isots are calling up proposing trades....

Gary Sheffield had hit the LAST THREE Mets homers...he hit the only two on their 10-day road trip and homered tonight. This is for over about a 9 or 10 day stretch.....

and as each game goes by he plays, it's more and more apparent that opposing pitchers give him maximum respect...
more than a few have elected to walk him...even if they started out ahead in the count...

He IS the fear factor in the Mets lineup. Ron Darling just noted that Sheff has 19 walks and has scored 21 runs.

Great last couple of days. That bomb by Santos was spectacular.

If you can't see the difference in this team as of late, you must be blind. But damn it injuries are killing us again this year.

The injuries are pilling up but I would rather have them now than later on in the season. Sit Reyes as long as possible with his legs. We need him down the stretch not now. If Putz can not work in the 8th like he does in the 9th we should trade him for something. I can not understand why a guy can not work in a late game situation even if it not for a save. A save is a small number in the stat sheet. We need wins not stats. Do you guys think we will be fine with Murphy at 1st or trade for some king of first baseman? I think we should keep Santos at catcher with Schnider when he comes back and drop Castro.

Rather have Castro and Santos than the waste of space Schneider..
