Boston bullpen gross, but we couldn't get a clutch hit and just left guys on base

Stop trying to hit damn HR’s all the time, it’s the one thing that infuriates me the most with this team at times and just baseball in general these days. Dammit!

Ok my rant is over, still just need 1 of these 2. Positive signs in the final few innings despite my rant above. Nobody else on this Bos staff is close to Sale, and the bullpen has glaring weaknesses. Let’s even this thing up tomorrow night.

At least we made them use Porcello and forced Kimbrel to throw a lot of pitches. As you said, getting one of the 2 is a success.Just a missed opportunity, plenty of chances where one hit would have made the difference.

Frustrating to have to go into the 2nd inning with one of the best pitchers in the game spotted 3 runs in his home park...I won't even mention the scrub responsible by name but it is what it is. Can't leave that many runners in scoring position and expect to win, especially not this time of year. Hopefully Tanaka can carry over last year's playoff run to this year, we need him.

Already better than last night. Let’s hope Tanaka can get a little sharper as he settles in.

Great great game last night, needed 1 of 2 in Boston and did just that. In the process they sent Boston into panic mode imo, they just moved Eovaldi up to game 3, if Yankees can get to him early again like Price and get into that bullpen it can make several things happen. They may have to use Porcello out of Pen again taking him out of starter equation, second that puts either Rodriguez or a short rested Sale on the mound for an elimination game in NY.

Game 3 is critical, can’t wait!!

Eovaldi kills us but Happ killed the Red Sox so... Every day is a new day. Need the crowd to be super amped up and get in his head. Sevy at home, hoping he can go out there and do what we know he's capable of.

Stanton is gonna mess around and get moved lower in the lineup if he continues to look the way he has, the A-Rod treatment.

Oh but I like facing him back at yankee stadium. He's a flyball pitcher if I remember right. And that place is going to be rabid tomorrow night.

If Girardi was the manager, Stanton would have batted seventh by May.

Cashman won't let Boone do that.

Someone got this great photo of Boone after Severino gave up that first pitch hit to start the 4th, amazing timing.
