Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread
Well it's like the image I get when people try to tell me they should've taken Tyreke Evans over James Harden(which is lolworthy), I see Durant sitting in the corner single covered by someone like Hedo, while Westbrook/Evans just drive to the basket and take 50 combined shots and shoot 30%Support Local Sports

Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread
I'm neither team but both we're out of the playoffs midway through the season, The Lakers were in the 10th spot and we're struggling with offense averaging 98.3 points a game, Kobe was shooting 43% and 30% from deep. The Nuggets in the 12th spot were averaging 102.6 points a game but giving up 103.2
Nuggets get:
Bynum/Matt Barnes/2011 2nd rounder
Lakers get:
Raymond Felton/Danillo Gallinari/2011 1st rounder
It makes sense for the Nuggets because now they have someone who can defend the paint, bring more toughness and size to pair along with Nene. They also get a great perimeter defender in Matt Barnes that has a decent shot. Even though Ray Felt will be missed, Ty Lawson is more than ready to step into the starting role now.
As for the Lakers it's no secret they have needed a point guard for quite some time and they finally get a younger point guard in Felton to take some of the load of Kobe and allows the offense to have a better flow to it. Gallinari will give a Kobe a younger sidekick and a replacement for when he retires that they can hopefully build around. Yes they will a 7 footer and probably some defense but I think the offense will cover up a slight drop in drop in offense.

Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread
Was originally supposed to post on here but somehow ended up on the main forum. Need some advice in regards to a defensive minded PF. I've got Okafor at the 5 and offensive minded players at the 1, 2 and 3. Got David West at PF atm but wanting to trade for more of a defensive presence.
Suggestions?Comment

Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread
At the end of the first season with the Wizards I wound up with the first pick, I was toying between Irving and Williams but went with Irving as PG's usually have high trade values. I wound up pulling off this deal, which I think helps out all 3 teams pretty equally.
Wizards Trade
Kyrie Irving (MEM)
Rashard Lewis (MEM)
Andray Blatche (MIA)
Grizzlies Trade
Rudy Gay (WAS)
Michael Conley (MIA)
Ishmael Smith (MIA)
Miami Trades
Chris Bosh (WAS)
Mario Chalmers (WAS)
So Miami trades Bosh and Chalmers for Andray Blatche and Michael Conley, they get a PG to facilitate and still get a serviceable big inside to replace Bosh at a cheaper price.
Conley
D Wade
LeBron
Haslem
Blatche
Memphis trades Michael Conley and Rudy Gay for Kyrie Irving and Rashard Lewis. They take Rashard's contract for the next 2 years but also lose Gay's max deal for the next 4 years. Obviously a large trade up from Conley to Irving.
Irving
Mayo
Lewis
Zbo
Gasol
And I as the Wizards parlay my "useless" first pick into a good start of a supporting cast for John Wall.
John Wall
Jordan Crawford
Rudy Gay
Chris Bosh
Javale McGee
Chalmers, CDR, Nick Young, Kwame and Yi all coming off the bench for me.

Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread
I don't see why Memphis would do this trade. Why give up Rudy and take on Shard just to potentially upgrade the PG when Conley can do his job well enough at that position.Celtics Bruins Sox Eagles Liverpool

Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread
Well if you're going to try and compare Irving and Conley as being anything close to "equal" (especially in-game wise) then it's obviously going to look lopsided, but good luck finding anyone to agree with you. Conley is a 75 and basically maxed out, Irving is an 81 by his second year and puts up better number's as a rookie than Conley does his entire career, Irving is also one of 10 player's in the entire franchise with at least 4.5 stars for a trade value, Conley has 2. The Grizzlies also dump Gay's contract a few years early (who is an 81 and maxed out), giving them $13 million next year to play with to add around the group of Irving, Mayo, Randolph and Gasol.Red Sox, Giants, Knicks, Liverpool FC, Bruins, UConnComment

Re: The Official Rate My Trade Thread
I like this alot, you gave Washington there own Big 3 in Wall, Gay and Bosh. Miami gets a solid distributor something they lack at the PG position Irving is gonna have a blast feeding Zbo, Gasol, Mayo and Lewis, smh that Grizzlies team looks like there gonna be fun as hell to watch.
PG - John Wall
SG - Jordan Crawford
SF - Rudy Gay
PF - Chris Bosh
C - Javale Mcgee
6th - Nick Young
Main roleplayers are Josh Howard, Jianlian Yi ,Mario Chalders, Raja Bell and Kwame brown to hold down the middle, I also have a Sean Williams who's a 65 PF who looks like he'll develop nicely, along with a couple prospects in the D League.
I don't know what that guy up there is talking about because I think the Grizz got away with a heist.
Irving
Mayo
Rashard Lewis
Zbo
Gasol
They have their first round pick, Donatas Motiejunas behind Powe and Randolph so he'll log some minutes as C also with Gasol. They also have, Tony Allen and Sam Young, hardly a team that got taken for anything.
