It was an exciting up-tempo game, but anything you see wrong?

After that, I changed the time to 8 mins/speed to 50 and got lower scores. But I still want to know why I got huge results from the 10 min game? What time should I stick with.

I figured you treid to go 10 Minutes using 50 Game Speed. It can be done but you have to actually run more set plays and kill clock sometimes. But also those two teams both like to get out and run or take quick shots from outside.

Try and play Detroit or San Antonio and see if the scores come down. Also, if your going to go 50 Game Speed drop down to like 9 minutes and see what happens that way. Otherwise like I mentioned earlier 8 minutes might be best for that Game Speed unless the Human player can really force himself not to get caught up into shooting so quick on each possession.

Try and play against Memphis they won't take quick shots unless your giving up easy layups.

This time go 10 MInutes and stick with 45 Game Speed. I"m guessing it was because of the Sonics and Warriors who both have very little defense and much offense.

I'll check back for your stats. Make sure you set up everything and save it for Memphis. I just played them with San Antonio and held them to 93 points. They made 4-5 passes quite frequently once I cut off Bobby Jackson's penatration.

Also, try not to switch to defender that is on the ball stay at home and defend the PG and see if that helps to get your scores down. I only control the PG on defense about 80% of the time.

Memphis-This is the most patient offensive team I've seen in the game

New Jersey-Throw it down Vince throw it down. The Nets attacking defense led by Kidd will come after you the minute you cross half court. Be very aware of their 1-3-1 trapping zone that might catch you sleeping and then Kidd is off to the races with Vince and RJ running both lanes. Oh and did I mention this combo is the most exciting in the game when they get running.....

Also, I'm going to hold off on the Knicks until I know for sure what the deal is with E.Curry. The Knicks and Bulls will have to be adjusted now.

I have a question: How can i call a specific play (Double back screen, scorer PF etc.) . I can call the quick plays (pick and roll, isolation etc.) with the d-pad, but i have no clue with which button combination i can call the team-sets which playmaker describes.

Have you figured out how to dbf the playbooks yet? If you have please let me know. I ve been trying to figure it out all night but I think I m gonna give up now. haha good luck.

I havent figured them out yet either. I went in & look at the .dbf files but my confusion come as to which on the fifty box plays to run! LOL! I was hoping k3yd would have eloborated, but havent seen any post from him since. Hopefully he/she will enlighten us!

You should atleast try these first before attempting to play on thehardest level. They might actually be very challenging on All-Star level.

YOu have to hit the D-Pad twice for the play's you want to run that I listed. These are the bottom 8 quick plays so you have to hit the D-Pad twice either up/down/left/righ to get the second set of plays to be run.

Also you can click the right stick and see where the play is supposed to start which alot of people don't know. FYI


For the guy that asked about superstar these do transfer pretty well.


Playmakers I owe you an apology for the discussion we had on plays. Man I played the Suns twice and they killed me, I am on superstar. What I liked was that both games were different. The first Nash was killing me with penetration. He came close to a double double. The second Amare went off. Man I got tired of seeing him flex his muscle to my crowd. I love how the game plays different everytime you play and how you must play the way your team is supposed to play. Ex if you play with the Nets you have to run, Pistons slow the ball down, its great.
A couple questions for you. I haven't played on the desired game time yet and also I haven't messed with the d matchup pressure for the cpu either. So what am I missing by not messing with these? Also for the Spurs can you or have you addresed getting Manu involved a little more? One last thing I love how the game adjusts the shot when you get hit going to the hole, I have seen a bunch of new animations when this occurs. I just can't see how people are not liking this game. Strategy, plays, superstars like themselves, fast breaks, whats not to like?

I played 11 minutes quarters. The GAME SPEED WAS 46.
But I didn't run&dunk. I passed the ball around, shot from mid range ,etc,etc.
