Re: 2011 NBA Draft Discussion Thread
I think it's a little unrealistic to say he will step in and be our PG of the future or that he makes DJ Augustin expendable (which is what I've been hearing alot). Augustin is a PG, Walker is a scorer who can play the PG position. Walker can create his own shot, get to the rim, finish at the rim, and shoot on different planes. But he doesn't have the vision, passing ability, ability to set tempo and pace, etc. that Augustin has on the NBA level yet. I watched alot of Walker when he was more of a natural PG and still didn't think he was better at that than DJ at Texas. He's not even nearly the shooter from 3 DJ is. I do like Kemba for his scoring ability and think if he can put up 8 to 13 PPG while logging some PG minutes, than he will be a very valuable roleplayer for us.Last edited by Rocky; 06-24-2011, 01:10 PM."Maybe I can't win. I don't know if he's ready to do that."Comment

Re: 2011 NBA Draft Discussion Thread
To your first point, they drafted Gerald Wallace, who led them to the playoffs and a player pretty much any team in the league would want.
Besides, they're just starting their rebuild process (something you guys went through as well recently), how are they supposed to have any thing to show for it at this point?
Who's to say Kemba doesn't become an all-star PG in the league?
Edit: God, I really have to stop posting stuff 15 minutes after other people posted the same thing. Smh at myself lol, I get so excited that I can correct someone thatLast edited by Yeah...THAT Guy; 06-24-2011, 01:11 PM.NFL: Bills

I like the Kemba pick as well at that spot. Quite honestly though, he has a ways to go before he posseses the natural PG skills that DJ has let alone Felton.

I caught that the 1st time LOL.
One of the great things about international players, is that since they dont know the language very well, they unintentionally tell you the simple truthComment

No blind hate. You obviously have become accustomed to accepting failure as success.Comment

Re: 2011 NBA Draft Discussion Thread
He was probably my favorite player in the college game last year. Dude brings his lunchbox and puts in work every game. Good, hard nosed talent is hard to come by.
I'd pick him 10 out of 10 times over a pure PG who played 11 games because of a toe injury. It was smart of him to sit out no doubt, to rest the toe and let it heal, but I still take the big body with a nice all around game.Twitter - WTF_OS

Re: 2011 NBA Draft Discussion Thread
Talk to me when you guys win something. Really, anything. A playoff game, division, something.
Back to the draft:
I think Williams will probably end up being the best player out of this draft. Not quite sure how Cleveland passed on him. Really don't think with the small sample of games Irving played, that you commit a number 1 pick to him. (I was a supporter of him before, but then really looked at it
) Williams proved he could score in a number of different ways and the guy works his butt off.
You already have Davis and Sessions. They can get you by, especially when there are no expectations anyway.Last edited by 1Rose; 06-24-2011, 01:26 PM.Comment

Of course you don't care, you have a blind hatrid towards the Bobcats and refuse to change your opinion while others are agreeing with me. Is this what you do? People give differing opinions and instead of debating you talk down to others? That's a sure fire way to lose credibility....but I'm sure you already knew that.Comment

So, you don't notice the Cubs in your sig?

I don't have a blind hatred for the Bobcats, my friggin favorite player EVER is your owner! I don't think I could root against him if I tried.
So because someone agreed with you, that automatically makes your opinion right, or valid. Someone agreed with me too, so that means I'm right, right? Or does that make you a biased Bobcats fan who wants to have optimism?
Not sure where I was talking down to anyone, when you were the one who said I was ignorant. Oh well.
Haters gonna hate.Last edited by 1Rose; 06-24-2011, 01:39 PM.Comment
