Just watching the Mickey Mouse tour & although it’s lacking massively compared to even the European Tour I do think the format would make a fantastic online simultaneous game mode.

Really hope EA puts in a good weather system. Golf is very much impacted by weather obviously and Rory 15 did not even have rain at all as you know.

Here’s a picture of Rory and TW practicing at a links course…. I want this atmosphere in the game. I don’t think I’m asking much.I want to hear the wind and the waves hitting the rocks. A true links atmosphere! [ATTACH]

100%. There's no reason the above couldn't/shouldn't actually be a screenshot from the game at this point. The technology is there (and has been for some time). I'm of the strong opinion that the vast majority of golf games are led/programmed by people that aren't actually huge fans of golf, which reveals itself in a million little ways. But hope springs eternal for a new game/reset. I'm happy to withhold judgment until we actually see something in play.

Although somehow I'm sorta doubting spring 2023...

Thanks for even more reason why I never bought Rory PGA Tour. No rain In next gen hardware as if it's Tiger Woods 06, 07, and 08 on the xbox 360? Literally INEXCUSABLE.

No rain was one of the cost of starting over with a brand new engine... and no game face, only a few courses, no country clubs, etc... bare bone with the budget and time they had to make a new game. Which is why I believe 2K/HB will continue to just add contents for their Unity engine. For the majority, more contents is better than better engine and graphics.

So EA uses Frostbite almost universally now, I’m no dev myself but I hear it’s easier for them to share assets.

At worst they could pull the rain system from Madden and make it work theoretically.
