Wouldn't have a problem going all digital with my sports games, easily most played games every year and I dont really do the trade-in thing.

Still haven't decided if I want to go all digital yet. Has anyone come across a good article/video that describes all of the pros and cons for each scenario?

Only thing stopping me from going digital is I don't wanna wait for the games to download. And then will they be available at midnight to download ? Do we get pre-order bonuses like we do with physical copies ?
It’s easier to do the right thing, than to explain why you didn’t.

You will be able to play the game while you are downloading. I don't know about release or pre-order bonuses though.

Wasn't there some talk of allowing the download earlier than release....and then it activating at midnight of the release date?
            That would solve that "problem".
(to me.....the long download times(not the best internet speed for me) is the biggest drawback)
I keep all my titles anyway, so no trade is a non-issue.
(and it's only a matter of time before companies realize they must give some sort of incentive to repeat buyers anyway...something I'm sure will come as all digital becomes more prominent)

there were already rumors that MS would be restricting access to games until the release date, but that was when the 24 Hr. check was in place and you had to link the disc with your gamertag.

You would think they would offer some bonuses, if they're trying to usher the industry to an all-digital model...either slightly cheaper, some extra DLC items or something.

You're not going to have to wait for games to fully download to play. They haven't said how much will have to download but you will be able to play as it downloads. PS3 already does this with The Last of Us. I bought it digital and had to wait a through 50% of the download but got to play as the rest downloaded. I imagine this will be much better on the next-gen consoles. I know the PS4 will split up the games between multiplayer and single-player to let you start playing faster. I'm sure the Xbox One will do something similar.

Personally, I see myself going digital for multiplayer games or games that I see myself spending a lot of time on (ie. Battlefield, NCAA Football, The Division, etc). For short, single-player games, I'll buy a physical copy so I can sell it when I'm done.

                  NHL: Washington Capitals

RE: Price of Adapter. Dunno yet - pricing usually doesn't get announced until closer to launch.

RE: Headset in the box. All I can say is: We have heard the feedback.

Not unlike adding Facebook friends to your phone's address book, or finding G+ friends among your Facebook friends, etc.

They didn't say your friends list wouldn't carry over, only that they wouldn't be always synced, which makes sense considering 360 has a lower friends limit. Doesn't mean when you turn on an Xbone and sign into live that your friends list won't be there. In fact, if anything, I bet the 360 is the one left out on an island with it's own list, and everywhere else (Xbone, web, Win8, Windows Phone, etc) will all use the same list.

This is probably it. You are using the same gamertag but the 360 is limited to its friend cap, while the One shows everything.
Being kind, one to another, never disappoints.

Yeah I would say there's an obvious limitation here on just how many friends the Xbox menu can handle. It's a little sluggish and it's just a basic list. No way it could handle 1000 friends and the tools needed to navigate it. Theres no way we get 1000 friends and have to scroll through everything.
