Blackest Night is about to come out, and if you haven't caught up, read Green Lantern: Rebirth and Green Lantern: Sinestro Corps War Vol 1 and Green Lantern: Sinestro Corps War Vol 2

One of the best "trilogies" in recent comic history, and any comic fan would be sorry to miss this. Especially now that the "Black" faction is going to include some BIG names

Will this get me ready to read the new 52 Green Lantern Books? I've seen so many list online that are not consistent. I basically want to read major stories that get me ready for the reboot. I just read GL Secret Origin (Geoff Johns).
I bought Rebirth, Sinestro Corps War-hardcover (both volumes I hope?), Rage of the Red Lanterns, and Blackest Night Tales of the Corps. According to this list I only need to read Rebirth, Sinestro Corps War, than Blackest Night and I should be good? What about the other books I bought? Thanks!

Personally I came into the tail end of Blackest Night and read all through Brightest Day and the various GL titles at that time and that pretty much caught me up to speed.

You should get War of the Green Lanterns though (not sure when it will be in TPB though)

Just so long as you know about the whole war of the green lanterns rigamarole you should be fine. The last issue of GL is important to read though as it leads into the status quo for Hal Jordan now.

I'm so ready for payday tomorrow. The New 52 Batman is easily what I'm most excited for out of the reboot.

DC definitely had me in mind with the reeboot. I've bought about 18 of the titles so far and I plan on picking up Batman: The Dark Knight, Flash, Fury of Firestorm, Green Lantern New Guardians, and Superman. Maybe for Teen Titans, Aquman, and Voodoo. I hope I don't get lost reading the 4 Batman titles.

My favs included Detective Comics, JLA, Deathstroke, Static Shock, and Action. Haven't read any of the Lantern books yet (reading Rebirth now). I hope to catch up with the recent GL trades. I thought JLA International, Mr. Terrific Superboy, and Grifter did not impress me at all. I found JLAI and Mr Terrific particularly bad imo. Still need to read Wonder Woman, Batman, and some others. Don't know if I'll be able to read Batman & Robin past this initial story. Damian is so annoying to me.

I've only read his Batman stuff and the first issue of his Swamp Thing. There's been no real stinkers IMO. Looking at his work I did read his Iron Man Noir mini for Marvel and I didn't much care for that but otherwise he nails Batman and so far his Swamp Thing looks to be quite good.

Nightwing was pretty good, but I've always been a fan of the Dick Grayson character and it was good to see him back as Nightwing.
