I would also dump the fan in the back and replace it with a 120mm.

That looks like the best value.
Yeah I already did that. I removed that black thing and also replaced the other fan with the 120mm fan.

I'd add a fan to the side next. If that doesn't work then I think the next step would be a 3rd party heat sink. This is the one I have http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835103065
It's $20 after mail in rebate. I'd let others chime in before purchasing anything of course.

Just to be 100% sure I am gonna ask this, but the rear fan is pulling air out, correct?

Man I had a heck of a time installing these two parts..

I tried the HD 7850 first and what it did beyond what I posted, once I removed the drivers it wouldnt even power up the GPU when I put it in. I got a 650W Corsair power supply so it has enough juice to power it up. I put the old card back in and re-installed the drivers and the Vision Engine Center and put it back in, and it starts up right away. I was up until 3am trying to get this stuff done, alhtough I did start around 930pm or so lol.

I didnt realize that once I removed the liquid cooled fan from the processor that it had a plate in the back of the motherboard that it attached to, so putting the new one on, I was wondering why the screws wouldnt move, looked something up on my phone and saw what the issue was immediately.

Needless to say Thanks a bunch TRob... you helped me get it right.

At least I know now for the next time I want to take a step up.

It helped that I had a $70 gift card to get this power supply. The guy at the register told me the total then scanned the card and was like "70 dollars!"

OK this is my only issue right now

Ever since I upgraded the 2 parts, my PC is slower.

I mean my internet surfing takes longer to load pages and downloading files take way way way longer than what it did under the old components.

Anyone have any suggestions that might fix this?

Don't know if you're wireless internet or not DRE, but Windows 7 and Windows 8 both rolled out an update recently that stalled my internet speeds as well. As soon as I reverted the Wireless Drivers, it worked flawlessly again.

You might be right I think it was really bad timing but it stalled my Time Warner cable Internet from 5 or 10 mbps to like 215kb

                  That's ridiculous

Yep exactly what mine was doing. Look at your update history and see if there was one that could be the cause.

I have to leave for a bit but so far I got a few updates on the 15th of this month that didnt seem to affect anything til now.

I saw a couple of posts online that stated that Microsoft .NET Framework 4 Client Profile had a bug... That's the exact updates that I got on the 15th so I did a repair on it and it seems to be a bit better but not sure yet.

I think one was a .net framework, and the other was in the non critical "software" updates. I don't have that PC anymore to check unfortunately.

Yeah it was the .Net Framework update for Windows 7

I went to the uninstall programs, hit the uninstall/change button, then chose "repair"... that fixed the issues... really weird.

Its some M$ glitch from what I read

What can you guys tell me about CrossFire?

If I wanted to add a 2nd graphics card to the one I have..what process would I have to go through? New PSU, more fans, better processor, nothing but a 2nd card?

You'd have to check to make sure your motherboard supports CrossFire. You'd need the CrossFire bridge (AMD cards come with the bridge I think while nVidia SLI bridges come with the motherboard). I'd also assume you need more power than the 650w PSU you just bought.

Somebody more knowledgeable will provide better help though.
