That's good to know, but when you are a Medic (and have mastered '1st aid specialist') you can bring people back to life simply by healing the squad.

Ya imagine being about to go from the Misty Mountains, to the forests of Fangorn, to the Mines of Moria. The world would probably be too immense but it would heavenly for Tolkien fanatics (like me). I guess the PC online version is probably the closest there is.

It's still the greatest set of books I've ever read and some of the best movies as well.

OMG...what happens if you have points in both Charm and Intimidate? I got both...

You get both options. I almost had both of them filled all the way so when I go through the game again my guy is going to be able to intimidate and use charm.

I thought I read where someone said that you shouldn't do both. Is there any negative impact? Does having both prevent you from maxing your renegade/pargaon levels?

They don't prevent you from doing anything, using one of them will give you points for either Renegade or Paragon. I didn't have Intimidate as full as Charm so I didn't get those options very often but there were times where both were available to me.

It seems like if you do enough side-quests you never really need to buy anything at the shops. I've found all of my gear and upgrades from just exploring and doing side-quests, everytime I go to one of the stores I already have most of what they're selling.

The only thing I've really been buying from vendors are the licenses.

Still taking my time with the main story line (level 48, and on my way to Ilos soon), but I can't wait for downloadable content.

Nothing happens, I just played the first run through as a moralistic nice Shepard, my 2nd time I want to be completely evil. You can get both (and use either as you see fit during conversations), I just want to be completely intimidating, so using charm would just be a waste of points for me. I've all ready maxed out charm, so want to see what happens when I max out intimidate.

I buy the vendors and unique grenade and medigel upgrades. When I have to go to the Citadel I'll check them out, but I find that I'm pretty well off with the guy on the ship and looting items. My 2nd runthrough I'm using the aliens more (I was using Liara and Ashley mostly the first runthrough, so that was human armor), so I'm not sure if the guy on the Normandy sells enough alien armor depending on my squad.

No problem...still hooked on this game...gotta go back to work tomorrow though lol (I'd taken Mon-Wed off last week just because I could, I'd forgotten ME was coming out when I put in for those days...just wanted the holiday free). I'm finally complete with the Citadel again, now I have to figure out where I want to go next. Will be nice to get to some combat again (I really like the dialog, but I'm itching to kill some people now).

What do the licenses do? I've bought some of them but I don't know if they've made any difference.
