You end up with a buttload of money later on. I got most of mine just doing side quests and selling a bunch of the weapons.

yeah i think im going to finish the action sidequests......searching for the metals and crap isnt inspiring enough at the time.....unless theres a reward I dont know about?

hopefully the sidequests become more KOTOR-esque in the future........reward wise that is

Got this game last week but wanted to wait to start it til I beat Assassins Creed. Finally going to get going in it tonight, everything I'm hearing is great. Pretty excited, only the 2nd RPG I've ever played (Oblivion was my first).

You end up with a buttload of money later on. I got most of mine just doing side quests and selling a bunch of the weapons.

Does the money come from side missions? I ended up with a ton of money and had no idea where it came from. I thought maybe I got periodic paychecks from the council or the alliance.

Most of the money comes when you pass the "V" versions of the armor and weapons. Money starts to add up very quickly and then you notice the 10 million credit limit!

I got money from selling weapons/armor/upgrades, finding mineral deposits on planets (or by surveying them in space), also by investigating anomalies on planets. I dunno, I did mostly everything I could and ended up with millions. I bought some stuff in stores but i was fairly happy with looted stuff.

The mineral deposits must be it then. I haven't done much selling of my items but do survey or make a stop at any planet available. Thanks.

Yeah, if I stumble on a deposit to survey while I'm driving in the Mako I make sure to get it...I dunno how much it adds up though, I think a lot was my selling items after the "V" level of weapons like mentioned. I only hit a 3.5 or 4 million level though, not quite 10 yet.

Plus I wasn't fully outfitting my entire team with the best armor etc, just the main people I used...it's kind of a pain keeping them all outfitted best.

I took Kaidan on this mission with me since he was an L2 biotic and he brings it up when I try to talk them down.

I went with Ashley and Wrex like jmood did, but I am thinking about taking Kaidan instead of Wrex. It seems he's better-suited for that mission.

I'm using a female Paragon Soldier right now, so I've been running with Liara and Tali in my party. Gives me a nice balance of Combat, Tech, and Biotics.
