Can wait to read it.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :) -

Re: Mass Effect Discussion
Just finished the game. WOW!! I'm glad that I picked it up. I guess I have to read through this whole thread to see what the thoughts were. I think this officially the second game I've finished in my LIFE!! I'm sure glad I sat down and did it. Going to try to unlock the next two difficulties. Need to finish up Gears of War also. I'm going to have to check out the book too. Need to do some good reading.Comment

Re: Mass Effect Discussion
Some info on the next Mass Effect novel.
Yes, quarians play a very important role in the novel, and you will get to learn a lot more about their species and their culture. However, you won’t see Tali or Shepard or any of the squad members from ME in the book. The stories of Shepard and his (or her) squad members are being told in the games, and I don’t want to retell those stories in the books. (Besides, those stories are influenced by the choices you make as a player, so I don’t want to impose my version of the narrative on anyone.)
The novels focus on other characters and events in the Mass Effect universe (it’s a big place, with lots of cool stuff going on). I do make reference to events from the game, but this story stands on its own.But I can say that the novel is set a couple months after the events of the first game, and lays some groundwork for the second game. You’ll meet characters and organizations that will play a very significant role in the second ME game, and the novel will give you a deeper look into their backgrounds and motivations. I also take a much deeper look at biotics, and the implications of this amazing phenomenon on humanity and the galaxy as a whole.
Other than that, all I can say is that it’s my typical fast-paced story with some interesting – and a few morally questionable – characters. Like the first novel, it has some dark moments, and more than a few scenes of graphic violence. With the second Mass Effect game, we’ll be able to look at your choices as a player and adjust the narrative accordingly. Obviously, I can’t do that with the book. So when I reference things from the game, I do it in an open-ended or ambiguous fashion. Is that a cop out? Maybe… but I think if you read the book you’ll see that I get across the most important elements without compromising the Mass Effect game story or the ME: Ascension plot.Go Noles!!! >>----->Comment

Re: Mass Effect Discussion
Finally started playing through as a chick (renegade). Bring Down the Sky was great. It's worth the 400 fun bucks. More side-quests like that in Mass Effect 2, please. Make it a multi-disc game if you have to on the 360. Garus is rolling in my party for the whole game. Dude is a beast with that sniper rifle, plus he looks badass in his yellow armor.
Also, the new Mass Effect book should be out.Go Noles!!! >>----->Comment

Re: Mass Effect Discussion
I've played through this game so many times it's ridiculous. Do you know if they're planning on more downloadable content?

Re: Mass Effect Discussion
I believe all the info that is out there is that it is currently being worked on, but nothing more than that. I can't wait. If they can make that game a little longer and keep the same quality that would be great.Comment
