Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
I am putting off the Civil War for as long as I can. But I know I will not choose the Storm Cloaks. I am a High Elf. So I don't think I would want to join a faction that clearly hates my people. Now Playing on PS5:

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Who has done the Silenced Tongues quest? Wondering how good it was, just started it...
Also, is there a way to know all the side quests and what to do in order to get to them? I ask because I sorta stumbled upon this one in route to something elseLast edited by DarthRambo; 12-23-2011, 10:18 PM.Comment

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Damn - in the 75 days that my character has been running around shooting **** with his arrows, he has only slept for 87 hours.
That's 87 hours out of 1,800.
Edit: Just had my Elf sleep for a full 24 hours, so that's now 111 out of 1,824. Much better.
And for my weekly arrow check -
Ancient Nord Arrows - 270
Dwarven Arrows - 385
Ebony Arrows - 26
Elven Arrows - 243
Falmer Arrows - 57
Forsworn Arrows - 433
Glass Arrows - 38
Iron Arrows - 1041
Orcish Arrows - 431
Steel Arrows - 470
Total Arrows - 3,394 ()
I carry Dravin's Bow (no idea what this is, but it sucks and it won't let me sell or drop it), an Ebony Bow[E pic], and a Glass Bow[E pic].
Pro-Bow apparel: Ancient Shrouded Cowl (35% more damage) and Gauntlets of the Old Gods (20% more damage)
Plus the various perks and ****.
This game is ****ing awesome.Last edited by Beantown; 12-23-2011, 10:37 PM.Comment

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
I think they only start showing up in dungeons once a certain level threshold is passed. I'm 45 and still haven't seen them in a random drop and only found the one I have in a shopOakland Athletics San Jose Sharks

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Sneak shooting arrows is still by far the most OP aspect of this game. You can basically breeze through most of the game using this tactic. Once your sneak is high enough, enemies can practically be within hugging distance and still not see you.Comment

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
I put this game to the side for the past few weeks, and picked it up after the latest PS3 patch.
I am addicted all over again.Comment

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Can you be more specific? Just curious as I'm just starting (level 8), and I wouldn't be against starting over if I feel like I could play it a better wayComment

Basically the guide shows you everything and I mean EVERYTHING. Things I didn't even know existed, how to make potions, the effects of mixing ingredients. It's just a mass amount of info that this guide offers. I do know when to skip over info on quest because this book no doubt gives it away.
