Re: Armor & Sword's/Marino's All-Pro Slow Simulation Style Sliders

Started a online CFM with the Seahawks yesterday and had a good first game against the Packers. Game is really playing well with these sliders. Rodgers tried several passes down field (and completed a few of them), that was good to see, since it didn't happen a lot in my previous games.
Only thing I might change is the Fumble slider back to 50, since I forced 5 or 6 fumbles in that game, seems a bit too much.

Thanks for the work you guys put into those!

Re: Armor & Swords All-Pro Slow Simulation Style Sliders

You guys are probably on to something about the field goal kicking.

I haven't had any issues at all since then. I can get over that. Sometimes shanks, misses, etc. happen. I don't want every field goal to be automatic.

These sliders are still treating me well, but I'm struggling to score with them. My defense, on the other hand, is playing pretty well with these.

I give up the occasional big pass and string of completions, but my defensive front and linebackers are giving people hell right now.. countless sacks. I just racked up 8 sacks in one half of play without blitzing once.. all coverage sacks and linebackers playing man.

Final scores so far..

17-20 @ Steelers
13-9 vs Saints
16-3 vs Ravens

Bradford was robo-QB through most of the game. He started 14/15.. almost all of his incompletions came on the final drive where he just kept throwing deep into coverage or from plays where his receivers should have drug their feet but they didn't.

He only threw one bad pass the entire game.

Other than that, it was a good, close game.

I like the sliders.

User sacks? It seems using the new Dline interactions creates quite a nasty bit of sacks.

Re: Armor & Swords All-Pro Slow Simulation Style Sliders

For the CPU FG acc, there is definitely a huge difference between Play Now mode and Online CFM. In my CFM with the FG accuracy set to 0, the CPU was still making nice looking kicks (making most, missing few.) I plug those same sliders into Play Now mode and they're kicking line drive ducks. One was blocked (first time I've seen that in the game) and one so low that it skimmed over a lineman's head and a LB actually just reached up and caught it. Night and day difference between modes with the same slider value.

Lowering offsides and increasing holding penalty sliders is something I'm thinking of playing with to help with user sacks.

Supposedly offsides makes defensive players more aggressive while holding obviously gives the offensive line an advantage. The key being finding the right balance without a ridiculous amount of flags (shouldn't be too hard since Madden 15 is overly conservative with handing them out). One concern is this hurting the CPU pass rush too much. One downside to having penalties tied to bother users and CPU.

Of course this line of thought could lead no where. An idea I'd like to at least explore. Won't hurt to try.
