I'd assume your rotating your players effectively? When I see a linebacker or a linemen huffing and puffing, I either run the ball right at them or attack the linebacker (preferably a drag or streak on him).

As for running mechanics, are you using the 'get skinny' mechanic. It's RB on xbox and it basically makes the running back dip his shoulder to get between linemen. It's the difference between a 0 yard gain on 3rd down and a two yard gain on 3rd down for the first.


Also, after (or during playing if you can) look to see who got beat on a block and who beat them. Rating play a larger factor on the sliders. If you have a TE that can't block (i.e Antonio Gates 65 RBK) he won't be able to seal the edge. Respectively, if a center can't RBK then there will be constant pressure up the gut.

If you REALLY need to get that short yardage, I'd just sub in tackles for TEs

Yeah rushing can be tough. You gotta mix in a little bit of everything. Don't hit the sprint button until you see the lane you want to cut to. That's very important. Defenders disengage from the blocks as soon as you hit the sprint button. You shouldn't have too much trouble with toss and sweep runs. Once your blockers seal off the edge you should have successfull runs at a realistic rate. If you continue to struggle raise the USER runblocking up 5 points until you get nit down.

Jarodd, I tried your sliders before a longgg time ago. I think like Madden 12. I'm thinking of making the jump up to All-Madden.

All-pro has been a decent challenge but all the games have been super high scoring. No matter which sliders i use (I've tried default as well), the games are off the charts for the offenses. I played one whole season as the niners and I was the #1 team on offense and the #32 team on defense. My other problem with All-Pro is that I'm almost rooting for the CPU. I don't want to play a game and essentially root against my own team.

Do you see more defensive struggle type games on All-Madden or at least a good mix? Almost every game on All-Pro i scored at least 40 points but still went 10-6

You ain't lying about them pushing hard for that 4th quarter comeback. They put the points up for real. Haha! Yeah looks like you might need some kind of combination between the green and red set if you continue to score points like that. Maybe put the CPUs defense on the red set and/or put the USER offense on the red set and maybe leave the CPUs offense on the green set.
