Look...I lowered the tak slider because I absolutely cannot stand the suction tackling. If you're convinced that it is affecting pass defense, by all means, feel free to raise it to default. I will look at it..maybe the lower facemask value will mitigate the suction.

Fyi....forced Shady McCoy into two fumbles while testing last night...

Re: JoshC1977's M16 Sliders

What's everyones CPU run games looking like? As the Jets, I held the Browns RB to 17att/11yds, and right now into the second quarter vs Colts, Gore is currently 11att/-6 yards. I'm just blowing up their run games like nothing, practically my entire D-line is in the backfield when the handoff is given.

Each game my D-line's block shedding matches up pretty much to the O-line's run blocking (mid-high 80's), but I'm murdering them off the snap each time (not controlling the d-line btw). Just wondering if anyone else is having this problem.

My HUM run game is fine however. Sometimes on the slight brink of feeling a little bit overpowered, but usually evens out.

Also as far as passing, INTs are everywhere. A ton in my last game by me and CPU, and same thing here. (i've thrown 3, Luck has thrown 2, only 2nd quarter, but i'm also just kind of airing it out for fun as i test things out) The % percentages so far are fine though.

If anything....I think the CPU run game is overpowering....which I like. Have you tried re-installing the game? I think that this has helped others.

Was only playing half-heartedly, airing out deep routes, hence the number of INTs lol. About 4 of them were from the WR/DB animation where the ball pops into the air and gets picked. The other 2, one I hit the wrong button, other was just a regular INT. Luck's 2 INTs also came from the ball being popped in the air. Which brings into question the 50 WRC. I remember hearing somewhere if it's anywhere below 60, WRs have a real hard time catching the stuff they should. It seems that way. I'm not gonna discredit the coverage overall though, HUM and CPU, they seem to play pretty fair and tough in man and zone coverages, no real complaints.

The line play is the real story here.. HUM running feels overpowered overall. After a while, I noticed I could simply run up the gut doing nothing but holding the analog stick forwards. The D-line would part like the red sea and I'd get 3 or 4 yards before I was touched, and then when tackled I'd fall forward for another 1 or 2 every time. The average comes down from running tosses (where I'd get caught for 1 or 2 yards). HUM pass blocking feels fine.

CPU lineplay though is badly off though, and I've noticed the same trends in the past 2 games. When the CPU runs, my d-line block sheds pretty much immediately, and knocks a few lineman on their *** in the process. When it comes to pass blocking though, the d-line and o-line dance for a while, usually the d-line getting pushed back. This usually allows the CPU QB to pretty much hang back and wait for coverage to break, then makes the deep pass. Obviously you see the unbalance here.

I honestly like your previous set better, I felt like a lot of things were just about nailed on the head and only needed very minor tweaks. I just have a weird feeling about this current set that is not sitting right, so I'll probably just go back to the previous one. And of course I appreciate all the work you put into these. But I also feel going practically pure default is putting way too much faith in the Madden series, no matter how well this one plays, lol. There will always be things that need tweaking. But if this set is working for others, that's cool.

I have the AP/AP/AP, both patches and no tuner. I think deleting, redownloading and reinstalling is a bit much though. Also with PSN speeds, it'd be HOURS before I could play again, lol. I don't really wanna do that for something that could be pure placebo.

I disagree with this, the CPU run game is perfect, good rb's have good games on you and its possible to have a mediocre rb have a good game but thats only if you sacrifice stopping the pass.

That's fair....it is a LONG download. I do suggest checking out a twitch stream whenever myself or CJ is streaming....if things aren't looking the same for you....it might be something worth considering.

If you decide to do so....you could always put your system in standby when going to bed when downloading.

I should rephrase....the CPU run game can be overpowering AT TIMES. However, it is almost always when matchups are in their favor.
