Josh, have you played around with pass defense reaction time much this year? What have you found with that slider, obviously besides default 50 working fine. Does it essentially have the same effect as last year?
Not really to be honest. With pass coverage looking solid and realistic on All Pro, I haven't seen a real need to explore it. If I had decided to move onto All Madden, I am sure I'd explore it more....fortunately, I don't think that plunge is necessary.

I concur tdawg....I've given up 100 yard rushing games to teams that stick to it and have been absolutely been gashed in some games. There is a definite difference though when using a great defense versus a mediocre one...as there should be.

You're right...it isn't perfect, no slider set will be and neither will this game. However, the most crucial thing this year is I am actually having fun. All Pro is playing a very realistic and challenging game this year.

Hey josh have you tried speed parity at 95? Ive just ran 3 games with this setting and it seems to smooth everything out.....tightened things up immensely. Animations were smooth, games were lower scoring etc....

I haven't on M16 as I had tried higher threshold on other games and what it basically does is tighten up acceleration to the point where the acceleration rating means absolutely nothing.

I really don't like it as a guy like Carlos Hyde shouldn't be able to get up to top speed as quickly as Reggie Bush. If a setting seriously detracts from ratings mattering, I'm not going to go down that road. I don't care for low threshold for the opposite reason...it slows down slower players way too much.

It does give the gameplay a different feel, so I can understand the attraction. However, I spent over 2 years piddling around with high threshold, low threshold, etc. on NCAA14 trying to get good sliders. Once I decided to go back to a near default threshold that properly reflected player ratings, we nailed-down the slider set in a week.

Re: JoshC1977's M16 Sliders

Before I accidentally deleted my KC dynasty (don't ask ) I compiled the total plays numbers from my first five games. Now, one caveat is that I was using 12 minute quarters with 20 second run-off. Total plays were as follows:

135
141
128
126
114
Average: 128.8

Now, I tend to call my plays pretty quickly so the numbers work perfectly for me. For those of you not getting enough plays, I would suggest tweaking the accelerated clock a bit instead of tweaking the quarter length. I really think that 12 minute quarters with the 55 fatigue is the "golden" setting to get good autosubs.

Re: JoshC1977's M16 Sliders

Got my first game in yesterday with this set. Man oh man it played great. Doing a online fantasy draft cfm and my team is a pound and ground and flying attacking 3-4. Anyways my D played absolutely lights out. It was very refreshing. Couldn't get much going on the ground with L. Bell at first but kept plugging away and he did ok. Marriota threw a few ints (gotta get use to 50 int slider again) but.played solid. Had a 27-6 lead with 2 min left and of course the ****ing game froze. Stupid. But the game played great. I was really focusing on the line play and WOW was it noticeable how guys moved around. Much more pushing and knocking off balance then holding. Some of the stunts were amazing looking. Great job JC.

Sent from my Galaxy s4 so deal with the short hand

Re: JoshC1977's M16 Sliders

I've been trying to have fun with this game since it has been out but it has yet to really excite me until tonight. I finally deleted the tuner update and made the slight slider adjustments in your thread and I can now say I'm having a blast with this game! It's madden so it will never be perfect but it's now a very fun/good game of football. The stupid suction blocking is gone and every play doesn't seem like a replica of the last one. It's much more dynamic with players "making blocks " instead of holding a player in place for the length of the play. It really has an anything can happen on any play type of feel to it. I don't know if it's the deletion of the tuner in conjunction with the penalty sliders or what but this game plays great now. I've seen animations tonight that I have never seen before. Feels like a brand new game, thanks for all your time put into this and sharing your findings with us. I desperately wanted to really like this game and now I do. Thx!
