Isn’t it based on the team? There are teams like the Cowboys and Colts that stay in Cover 2 wanting you to dink and dunk all game. You add that with a strong front four, it can be very effective. I hate the Cowboys but I must say their defense is pretty good.

Oh also another question, for those on here saying they are getting pressure on the cpu all the time, what difficulty are you playing on? Because I’m on all madden and have fixed my cpu pass blocking slider from 30 to 20 to now 15 and I can still not get pressure on the cpu unless it’s a blitz, but then sometimes with that it’s not effective.

These have been the best sliders I've used, but it feels like maybe after the last patch the CPU struggles immensely to pass the ball. I went from competitive games to almost having to try and lose/sabotage my playcalling to keep it realistic.

QB's a few weeks ago would go for 250-350 passing yards on my cupcake defense, now Tom Brady struggled to pass for 200 yards and everything is almost a check down.

When I train my rookies I just simulate on bronze. Does anyone train on silver or gold?

Yes I have noticed this also, it’s mostly just been short check downs the cpu does now

I've tested with +5 to CPU Throw Acc, +5 to CPU Catching and -10 to User Pass Reaction and it was a little better...still feels like maybe its the AI playcalling thats weird? Wouldnt that explain the checkdowns...idk not having a fun time since the last patch.

I'm using the Chargers and im getting beat on defense constantly. I been lowering my reaction slider lower and haven't seen much difference. Will keep trying to look at more
