OK guys, we have a very nice update here. In efforts to improve coverage, I've been searching high and low. Turns out a very simple, old-school adjustment has really been impactful

In CFM
Adjust Defensive Holding to 49
Adjust Defensive Pass Interference to 51

That's it. It complements the rest of the setup very nicely. Coverage was very nice, but still balanced. We saw some terrific animations as well, along with 3 DPI calls in 2 games (which is insanely good for Madden).

Until we have a patch, we're good to go....

Josh this happens about 25% maybe more of my defensive plays and I don’t have a capture card to get gameplay but every single cornerback at the snap of the ball will blitz toward the QB but then try to run back to the receiver once the ball is thrown. I have deleted my profile and made new franchises but it happens in all of them. Any help? It happens in any coverage

Sounds like you're hitting the run commit. The pre-snap controls changed this year....so watch that carefully (I've done that myself).

Wow I didn’t even think of that honestly or noticed they changed thank you LOL

I tested with the new adjustment to penalties and it felt really good. Lost a close game to the Rams and nothing felt cheap. Totally shut down the Browns run game and Beckham went down early. Oh, a Hunt did too. Now just gotta hope the patch when it comes takes what’s already done and builds on it, and not two steps back instead.

Josh, any clarification on changing the threshold and fatigue sliders from 52 to 50?

They were edits made when previously attempting a different approach to address a couple of the game's issues. They are simply no longer needed (nor recommended due to the potential for deleterious impacts) with the current setup.

I have no personal preference or recommendation in gameplan drills. If that changes, that will be added to the ancillary notes on the second post in the thread. Do as you will.
