Improve Player Logic in Connected Careers : Players like Drew Brees should not be retiring after year one. Players that will never comeback should not be coming out of retirement.

Improve Sim Statistics : The passing statistics are all out of whack. Stats need to be adjusted significantly so players can be properly represented.

Custom Sound Track : While not necessary this would be a nice addition. I would like to be able to put my own music in.

Overhaul of Player Progression : Get rid of the current system and go back to how it used to be done. A Progression system based off of the stats a player put up. If I have a 2nd year QB that throws 4000 Yards and 30 touchdowns he should see an appropriate bump in attributes.

Improved CPU Awareness : While it's definitely getting there CPU awareness needs to get better when on the field.

Also, they need to completely rework play ratings. Some ratings, like Speed, you should notice a difference. But some other ratings can just make players 100% awful. It's like they forget that all of these players did make it into the NFL, yet with low intangibles, they play like high school players.

Studio Updates - Similar to NCAA football. Would like to see highlights from other games, but would honestly take any kind of studio updates. And with the popularity of Redzone, why not have Scott Hanson do the voice over.

So far great lists by everyone. Wish we could see someone from EA come discuss these wishes like Russell does for The Show.

I posted this in the impressions thread, but it probably should be here:

Fix the lighting: Shadows should start to creep across the field regardless of the start time. The lighting never appears to change when you get a 1:00 start.

It a shame, because the lighting is simply gorgeous. When I first got the game, I did a 6:30 start in Oakland and it was jaw dropping. However, during the season, you never see anything like that. In fact, the shadows in Oakland don't display properly during normal game conditions (something is going on with what appears to be three supports and structure that only casts a shadow during kicking plays).

I'd like to see EA change this - not only to showcase it, but shadows creeping over the field adds a ton to atmosphere.

I remember NCAA football used to have Sports Illustrated covers. I used to love seeing if my team made the cover that week. Madden should do something similar.
