Never mad at any rating, ever. It doesn't matter to me, at all. One of my least favorite times of the year is when the ratings are released.

UGH! Yes!

The first didn't bother me. The second did.. the Hawks were gassed!

.. but lets not kid ourselves. Lacy probably would have been stuffed, regardless. LOL.

The Seahawks drive chart this game still kills me (minus the scoring at the end)

Interception

That looks like what that great Ravens D did to the Giants in 2000... yet the Packers lost?! SMH

Why hand it off? You don't get a QB of Rodgers' caliber to put the outcome of the game in the hands of a RB whose pregame warm up routine consists of eating an extra large pizza by himself.

I honestly don't know how you are sticking to an argument about wildcard teams being some of the worst. That's losing some serious credibility dude. You can't throw that in there to discredit Rodgers. That argument just does not hold water.

Lets just use 2017 as an example:

AFC wildcard teams were both 9-7. The wildcard teams had at least 2 more wins than half the conference. The average wins for teams that didn't make the playoffs was 4.6. The AFC wildcard teams averaged twice as many wins as a non-playoff average.

NFC wildcard teams were 11-5 and 10-6. They both had at least 2 more wins that 7 teams in the conference. The average wins for non playoff teams was 6.8. Let's call it 7...the NFC wildcard teams averaged 3.5 more wins than non-playoff average.

Just based on record, the wildcard teams are not "marginally" better, and definitely not worse. They're better than non-playoff teams, and not "some of the worst in the league," as you say...that's just the way it is.
My standards are much higher than yours. Outside of a handful of teams, the majority of squads absolutely suck. I don't hold wildcard teams in very high regard. But even if you refuse to agree with me about them being in the same ballpark as a lot of the teams that miss the playoffs, you definitely agree with me when I say that teams in the conference championship games and SB (which Brady plays every year) are vastly superior to wildcard teams.

If you think Rodgers lost that game, or choked, then all I can do is assume you've never watched football before.

The Packers D snatched defeat from the jaws of certain victory. A colossal implosion for the ages.
How are you going to list that as a memorable performance?! I guess I shouldn't be surprised. There's not much to choose from with this guy.

This discussion has done nothing but solidify my point.

Rodgers' "memorable" 4th quarter performance vs Seattle: 2 FGs

Brady's 4th quarter performance vs Seattle: 140 yards, 2 TDs, resulting in his 4th SB and 3rd SB MVP.

Obviously any team in the conference championship or super bowl is a top tier team. What would you say if a Wildcard team makes the conference championship then? Just lucky? 5 of the last 21 superbowls belong to wildcard teams.

By your own ideology, if Rodgers is having to play these teams...then Green bay is ALSO "one of the worst teams in the league."

Either way, Your "higher standard" that you hold them to is based on nothing more than your personal opinion. If you're gonna make a claim they aren't good, and then use that claim to try to make it sound like Brady is better than Rodgers, have facts to back it up. Otherwise, it just sounds like your grasping at strings as a Brady fan.

Wildcard teams are not necessarily the top of the bunch, but they are far from the worst. 10 and 11 win teams though, and calling them bad..."c'monnnnnnn mannnnnn." That's unreal.

10 wildcard teams have gone to the Superbowl, 6 wildcard teams have won the super bowl. 5 of the last 21 SB champs were wildcards, that's 25% man. 25% of the last 21 superbowls...won by a wildcard. Which you deem to be bad teams.

1997: Broncos were a Wildcard at 13-3.
2000: Ravens were a Wildcard at 12-4
2005: Steelers were a Wildcard at 11-5
2007: Giants were a Wildcard at 10-6...and BEAT THE PATRIOTS
2010: Packers a wildcard at 10-6

So your "holding them to a higher standard" is pretty ridiculous.

And...Brady lost to one of them, which makes the argument even funnier.

Rodgers was hobbled that game with the calf injury. I think play action was out.

.. tough call against that D, playing with less than your full arsenal.

I can't stand McCarthy though, so I'm thrilled to take shots here.

Why do you get byes?

Because your division spots you 5 or 6 wins a year.

Shame other teams don't have that same advantage.
