Madden 22 Wishlist..

Wow, so many great ideas have already been mentioned. Here's some smaller features that I believe would improve the game a ton:

• Custom Draft Storylines: Ability to create storylines for players in custom draft classes. Also the ability to choose exactly when a players stock rises or falls during the season. I'm sure the communities' draft storylines would be waaay more creative than EA's.
  
  
• Untouchables List: Each team has a list of guys that would be impossible to trade for (Tom Brady, Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen, etc.). This would make it impossible to fleece the CPU. The list should be fully editable by commissioners.
  
  
• Award Editing: Commissioners should be able to edit award winners after the season. Award Voting in online leagues would also be awesome.
  
  
• Yearly Cover Athlete: The cover athlete of the next Madden is announced and displayed after each season.
  
  
• Custom Number Retirement: Ability to retire any players number after the season.
  
  
• Scoutable Injury Rating: Still can't believe this isn't a thing.
  
  
• Weekly generated Mock Draft: It would be awesome to see who your team is projected to pick.

* The ability to assign custom playbooks to all teams. This would be a game changer for me. And seems like the only way to get realistic plays called.

* Run pass slider. Agin this seems like the only way it would be possible to get an accurate representation on what teams really do.

* AI logic. Pretty much the AI needs to be better for all positions.

* Un-retire. I’d like to option to un-retire players if I think that it’s necessary.

* Assistant Coaches. I know this is happening, but I would really like them to actually make a difference, not just put in the game for the sake of it.

* Face creator. I believe that it’s already on the Yard. So let’s put it in Franchise so that we can get some accurate looking draft prospects.

I don't have the game in front of me, but I have the settings set to where the plays are called automatically, the rotations are all done by the CPU aka the coach and his profile dictate them, and all coaching decisions are set to be done via the CPU.

This is a big one for me. If I see the Madden 22 demo and if it's the same bad generic faces they've been using for the last 8+ years it a hard pass for me and it will be telling to their effort level this year. The community could build some great draft classes with the face editor/player creation suite from The Yard and make franchise more playable in later years. Would be nice if the commentator would say edited player common names also...

Things like this is why Madden franchise mode has been joke compared to other Esport games... It's a basic feature that should have been in franchise years ago especially since it is in the game elsewhere.

Thanks canes21 I will be looking into this. As I like a challenge realism in my gaming now. Will check this out. I know I have the first part set just need to look into the rotations and coaching decisions.

You can set a bunch of options to auto. I let the CPU gameplan and scout for me. Just to make it a bit harder. You can set everything to auto and just play the games if you want and the CPU handles the rest.

Change of direction. I know Madden tried to fix this and thought early in the year it was ok but of course people complain saying they cant user because it feels like players are in quick sand. But right now it is ridiculous. Right now you have guys usering a LB and covering the entire field. You call play action, they sprint down to the LOS, realize its a pass and are able to cover the receivers crossing route.

I would also like to see fatigue have more of an impact. Want to see subs get utilized more.

In regards to your first part about change of direction. Are you on current or next gen? Admittedly I don't play online really, and have not on next gen, but change of direction and the locomotion as a whole on next gen is a big plus for the game over what we've had in recent years.
