Has anyone successfully been traded to Miami while in their rookie year? I ask cause (SPOILER) after I won MVP and ROY and NBA championship my rookie year, Lebron approached me and said we should join forces sometime. I assume had I been traded to his team during this year, that cutscene either wouldn't play out, or be really weird since we would already be on the same team. So I'm wondering if the game will even allow u on the heat your first year since that cut scene is there. I started a new MyCareer and trying to get to the heat, why I'm asking

Has anyone else experienced the "stuck in mud" animation where your player will slow down while trying to close out on the 3-point shooter?

It feels so fake it's just pathetic. If they wants to set the A.I up for a clean look, do it through smart play, not this artificial bull****.

If I react fast enough, then I should be able to help, then close out on the shooter. Don't put an artificial limiter in there to stop me from playing good basketball.

Curious but do u need to literally keep the button held down? Cause when I tap it, the chuck the ball up towards me and my guy jumps, but he NEVER catches it. It sails out of bounds, off the backboard, bounces off his hands, etc. And that's with an athletic SG 92 dunk rating

Your progression is all based on performance. You never went to bench warmer because the difference between bench warmer/role player and prospect is based on ratings. It doesnt matter anyways. You should get the starting spot after 30 games or so in January. The majority of people get a starting spot around this point. Im not sure why there are people who have to wait till 60 games in though. Seems like something in their My Career didnt activate correctly.

The 60 game mark referred to probably is from the majority of people that keep requesting trades. it sets back your minutes.
