MLB 12 The Show Game Update 1.16 Arrives, Details Included - Post Your Impressions

Another MLB 12 The Show game update arrived this morning, bring it up to version 1.16. Check below for the details and let us know what you are seeing.

Schedules and box score were misaligned for a portion of the games for certain teams.
Occasionally when loading into online games, an empty field (home plate view) would be shown and user has to PS button out.
Analog bunting interface, versus a behind the pitcher view in online games would cause a frequent freeze when the user on offense bunted.

Don't get it if you can help it. My RttS locks up every time I advance to next appearance after this update. I don't know what to do. I can delete the update, but I can't go back to 1.06.

I guess as a positive for it, my Diamond Dynasty doesn't lock up now, where it did before when I was uniform editing.

Yeah, it's a new patch. Checking the MOTD for patch notes now...and nothing.

I downloaded the patch and went directly to my franchise, I haven't had any freeze problem, then again I haven't look into the previous month. I'll keep moving forward because I'm on track to play all 162.

Yeah, I'm not gonna touch it either till we have release notes and bit more info about it. Even if that means forgetting DD for now. I can't go through another fiasco of it messing up my Franchise - I'm waaaayyy too deep in it.

Well, the franchise ticker still has decimals for HR's and other offensive stats.

That's just what I was going to say. I even tried a new franchise with the Reds and the decimals are still there.

I just downloaded the 1.16 patch and I would advise that those who are already past the all star break, do not download the patch. I play with the braves and had a record of 68-29 which made me first place in the national league east. After downloading the patch I show a record of 69 wins and 168 losses and 68 games out of first place. I had downloaded the 1.06 patch and never had any freezing. I just deleted the 1.16 patch which I guess also deletes the 1.06 patch. This is a great game but the updates released only seem to make things worse.

I saw that with the last update too.

My franchise is working fine, just starting my first year playoffs.

Seems to me more pop to the bats for both user and cpu.

got the update and i cant play rtts now. every time i hit play next app. it freezes. tried 5+ times. freezes same spot everytime. quickly growing tired of these updates breaking the game

It's gotten to the point I don't even trust em when they put out a patch... No download for me. The game plays fine anyways without it.
