Re: NBA 2K - Georgiafan's 3 year realistic rebuilds / remasters

Winslow Out 4-6 Weeks

Justice sprained his ankle and will miss 4 to 6 weeks since its now early March he should be able to return for a few weeks before the regular season ends. Memphis is currently 19 and 29. They are 4 teams from seeds 11 to 14 that all have basically the same record. The Jazz are currently the 8th seed with 24 wins.

Justice had moved into the starting lineup and was showing his all around game. In 27 minutes he was scoring 8.3 per game, 6.2 rebounds, 4.7 assist and shooting 40% from 3. He was also playing solid on defense.

During his absence Melton will move back to the starting lineup who continues to see his defense ratings go up. One silver lining is this does allow more minutes for Grayson Allen and rookie Desmond Bane. Bane is starting to shooting the ball better after his slow start. The trade deadline is only 2 weeks away and the latest buzz is Tyus Jones wont be traded now so watch out for that on draft night.

Grizzles vs Mavs

We will now go more in depth with the game vs Dallas its been a while since we did that. Dallas is coming off just making a small trade which we will have more on a little later.

The 1st quarter ended with Dallas up 4 and Ja playing the whole 1st quarter. The lead would be at 2 for Dallas going into half time. Doncic shoot only 5 of 18 so your take that if your Memphis. Dillon Brooks lead the way for Memphis with 16 points. Dallas would extend the lead to 7 at the end of 3. Memphis couldn't get anything going on offense and the lead was 10 with 6 minutes remaining. Memphis was back in it only down 6 with less then 4 minute to go. Then Luka hit the dagger a step back 3 over JA. Dallas would go on to win by 18

Turnovers destroyed Memphis they lost that battle 22 to 3. They did shoot well from 3 hitting them at a 40% clip with the rookie Bane hitting. Ja had one of the worst games of his season he shoot just 3 of 14 and had 7 turnovers. He saved his scoring day with 10 FT's. Clark had 20 and 7 and was the best big of the trio. JJJ was rough on offense shooting just 2 of 12. Luka had a very odd game so the coaches will have to work on him being less aggressive from 3.

Trade Deadline Summary

Here we will go over all of the trades made at the deadline. With so many teams in the trying to win phase and only a few in the tanking phase. You didn't see any major moves just some smaller smaller ones. The playoff races are all pretty jammed up. The biggest name rumored to possible be on the move was the Bulls Lavine and Markkanen. Derrick Rose was another one that didn't get traded since he is averaging close to 20 a game it made his price tag to high.

-------------------------------------------

Mavs Take (26-19)(4th in west)
They give up a pair of 2nd round picks and get two things out of it. They shed salary for this summer which now gives them over 30 million to spend. Ariza will add some much needed wing depth for the playoff run. He is shooting 38% from 3 in 15 minutes. They also have plenty of depth at PF/C so will not miss Kleber.

Thunder Take (7-39) (15th in west)
They are projected to have well over 70 million in cap space this summer and will not be needing all of that to spend in FA. They pick up a pair of 2nd round picks for taking on the 8.75 million of Kleber's contract next year. They were very few teams that could get to the 12 million salary of Ariza so they did good getting a 2nd for him.

-----------------------------------------------

Pacers Take (24-30) (1.5 GB of 8th seed)
They have lost 7 of 9 games since Myles Turner got hurt. They were hoping to find a PF just couldn't find one that fit. They were already going to be over the cap anyway so adding the 8 million salary next year doesn't bother them. Wright is good enough to be in the rotation and they get a 2nd round pick. He will also be perfect salary to add to a trade next year as a expiring contract. Okafor will also be needed as insurance with Myles Turner still out for another month.

Pistons Take (18-38)
They give up a 2nd round pick and gain 8.5 million for cap space this summer. They now have enough cash to be a player in FA

-----------------

Warriors Take (19-39) (14th in East)
Its looking like they are going to miss the playoffs and a big reason for that is the hole at SG without Klay. They have the 3rd worst defense in the entire league and Frank is a defense specialist. They didn't need Looney anymore with the addition of Wiseman. When Klay comes back they can easily sign Frank to a new deal and he can be some defense off the bench

Knicks Take (14-39) (15th in East)
It was just time to start moving on from some of these struggling former lottery picks. Looney is under contract next year and at 25 will be a fine as backup C. Frank was a FA and it was unlikely they would have brought him back

--------------------------------

Bucks Take (40-11) (15th in East)
Lopez just got hurt and he will be out 4 to 6 weeks. He was the only legit C on the entire roster so Noel will temporarily be the starting C. Austin Rivers gives them another vet off the bench.

Knicks Take (12-39) (15th in East)
River had asked for a trade (in game) as he wasn't seeing any playing time. Forbes is a 3 point specialist who grades out at A+ and has a player option for next year. A few days later they would replace Noel's minutes with Looney in the Frank trade.

Re: NBA 2K - Georgiafan's 3 year realistic rebuilds / remasters

76er Take (29-25)(5th in east)
They have a hole at the backup 4 spot and going forward Zach may even be the primary backup at 5 behind Embiid. They have plenty of draft picks going forward so they wont miss what they gave up. The young players they gave up were unlikely to see any playing time this year. They will have to give Zach a new deal and they are hoping they can get him to reach his potential.

Trailblazers Take (21-33) (12th in west)
Collins was another player that had asked for a trade and in the final year of his deal it was time for a fresh start. Bradley is only 23 and is a elite rebounder. Ferguson is only 22 and has 3 & D potential if he develops. They also get a pair of 2nd round picks with one of them coming this year. Collins was likely to still be buried in the bench next year behind Covington, Derrick Jones, Nurkic, Little etc.

-----------------------------------------------
A small trade here the kings are 24-29 and still very much alive in the playoff race. They get another body at wing in Miller who can shoot the 3. They didn't need Parker as they have a lot of depth at PF/C. The Thunder get a better and younger player then who they traded.

Nice job here. This is the type of stuff I love doing as well. Maybe you could find a new generation Xbox user to do this with my newly-released NBA reality roster on NBA 2K21?

Thanks and yea I love doing all of the trades it didn't make sense for any major moves this year so I'll have to wait for the offseason for those.

I'm a PlayStation only guy I've been on the system for so long I don't think I could ever adapt to the controls for a Xbox.
