Game 4:
Yankees - 10
Rangers - 6
All I can say is JUAN SOTO. What a weird game this was. Yankees stared the game with a 2-0 lead courtesy of a Juan Soto 2 run homerun. Texas score 1 in the second and so did we. I thought the 3rd inning was the turning point cause we scored 5 runs to go up 8-1. My thought is that if I just stay focused we will cruise to an easy victory, but the Rangers and different thoughts.[/CENTER]
Rodon pitched well up until the 6th inning. He left runners on an ended up with 5 earned runs. Once again we trusted our bullpen to not f-it up but that's exactly what they did. De Los Santos came in pretty much allowed everyone on base to score making it a 8-6 game. But once again when we needed him the most Juan Soto came through with another 2 run homerun.
From the 7th inning on our bullpen did the job giving up no runs while srtiking out 3. I had to use Holmes to guarantee the victory so lets see how that affects us going forward. Even though De La Cruz is still playing well batting .400 with 4 homeruns and 8 RBIs, Juan Soto has gotten past his slow start and is now batting .250 with 7 homeruns and 11 RBIs. He's leading the entire playoffs in both of the latter categories.
