Just started my White Sox franchise, in which I intend to play all 162+ games. In the first game at Cleveland, Fausto Camona destroyed me through 8, including 11 strikeouts. Down 2-0 going into the 9th, Konerko and Quinten hit back to back homers to tie it! In the 10th, Brent Morel added yet another solo shot, and Thornton closed it out. Hell of a game to start the season.

2-2 with the Orioles using Knights V4.

Took the opener in Tampa. Set my rotation to be a 4 man till April 10. Worked out because Matusz got rocked in game 2 only lasted 2 innings. Bergeson went 5 in long relief. Tied the game at 4 in the 9th. Lost it in the bottom of the ninth on a Longoria homer. My bullpen blew the 3rd game had a 2 run lead in the bottom of the 7th, gave up 3 runs.

Took the home opener. Arrieta went 6 gave up 1 run. I scored 5 in the second. Weiters who was 0-Tampa Series went 4-4 with a HR and 3 RBIs. Its fun being the Os again. Good young pitching and some pop in the line up.

How are folks playing with Phillies handling the injuries to Brown, Utley and Lidge in your franchise? Are you leaving them on Class-A roster until you think they will come back or just putting them in from the beginning? I'm thinking about bringing back Brown and Lidge at the beginning of May and then Utley beginning of June, I need Utley back bad! Currently 6-12 in my franchise with the Phils right now...The Fab Four are STRUGGLING!

Adam Dunn is a monster in this game. 4 HRs in 5 games. Well, soon to be 5 games. I had to save the final game at KC in the bottom of the 11th so I could watch the real sox.

I am having difficulty keeping the lead, unfortunately. I was up 7-5 in this game until Thornton gave up a 2 run blast. Once I get that down, we're gonna roll.

But that's not the point of this post... I was doing some simming in another franchise and Bryce Harper is on the Block. In my other franchise I was looking for a RF and they had him on the rumor mill.
That sucks if he gets traded, I'll tell you that much. I want stuff to be real.

I've been starting to sim a few games to experience the off-season. I have my lineups set to my liking, but whenever I sim, my lineups seem to get reset to the batting order that the cpu would do if I went auto control of my lineup. I go back in and check and the batting order is still set as I want it.

Is it not possible to sim with your lineup as you want it? Pretty disappointing if so.

Started a new franchise on Experienced using the Pirates with the OSFM minors roster. In my franchise, Strasburg hurt his shoulder again, and he was struggling before that, so I gave up McCutchen and a few prospects to land him. Also, drafted Gerrit Cole. Made him like a super rookie, since he's supposed to be better than Strasburg. Also, picked up Kevin Millwood in the rule 5 draft. Then, during the offseason, I picked up David Ortiz, Jason Varitek, J.C. Romero, and Joel Zumaya. So I got small upgrades at C and 1B, and I solidified my whole pitching staff.

Started a Franchise with the Marlins with Knights roster. So far 2-0 beating the Mets twice. Almost all my runs coming on bombs. Actually got out hit by the Mets in game one 13-5. Starting pitching has been awesome between Johnson and Nolasco. Wasn't a big fan of Vazquez so decided to shop him around. Havent gotten much in return. I do, however, need another left handed arm in the bullpen. But then again who doesn't. They don't have to be anything amazing just another lefty to middle relieve. Any Suggestions???

Oh yeah, the only bad thing about my rotation is it's all righties...but I'd take righties named Strasburg and Cole any day...

Update to my franchise:

So far the Zach Duke trade has been a steal for me. He's pitched great ball over his past two starts against Boston and Texas. 17 innings 1 ER! I had a couple of tough 1 run losses in Boston, but managed to salvage the series finale. Since then i've won 7 in a row, and my record is now 13-3. Although i've simmed about 7 of my 16 games so far. There's not enough away games in the early part of the season. I'm more of a guy that likes to play as the road team and get booed. Over the course of the games i've played, my pitching has been lights out since the Boston series.

I'm looking for a utility infielder to back up Jeter, Cano, and A-Rod as they have been tired a lot lately. I've tried trading for Jeff Keppinger, but the Astros wont budge. Do you guys have any ideas on who I can trade for Kepp?

Played my first game this week, Johan pitched a masterful 7 inns of shut-out ball. Then PIT scored 2 runs on 3 hits, brought in Byrdak and stuck out the side. Downed the surprisingly tough Pirates 3-2. K-Rod closed the game and has done well except for the rather high era of 3.6.

Beltran continues to impress me and be my 2nd best hitter behind Wright, he belted his 9th HR already. If he asks for less than $10mil per in the offseason i have no problem giving him a 2-3 yr contract, but that may change during the season.
