Currently 18-21 with the Pirates. I started the year 14-9 before going 4-12 in my last 16 games. I doubt I buy the game next year (just don't play enough) so my goal is to finish the season by next October.

Well, I'm in big trouble now. Currently riding an 8-game losing streak, which now leaves me 9 games back of Oakland, and just a game ahead of Texas for last place in the AL West.

In my last 2 played games (I sim 2 out of 5) I have been shutout. Tommy Hunter threw a 1-hitter against me in my last game played, a 2-0 loss.

Seattle is now 57-63 on the year. Not much time left for me to get back in the race; I think a more realistic goal is to try and finish up at .500.

Game 1 of the NLDS went like this.

Dodgers score 5 runs off the Cy Young winner within the first 3 innings. Then Corey Patterson hits a blast to make it 5-1. Geo Soto follows up an inning later.

Then in the 6th, Bills blows up and gives up 5 runs in the inning.

Final Score 8-5 Cubs Win.

Suck It.

Can I catch a break... My whole entire bench is AAA players because my whole bench is down for 2 plus months now my hottest hitter Nishioka goes down for 3 months so I have to call up Dee Gordon as a very worst case guy because I wanted to give him more time to develop... But when your backup SS and 2B are injured. Sigh...

Ugh, I just gave up back-to-back-to-back-to-back HRs against the Jays. Fortunately it's only 4-0 so I still have a chance. I hate the Jays though, Bautista in particular, he already had a 3 HR game against me and a 5 HR series overall a few series ago.

Not a whole lot to report really. Took two of three from Oakland on the road. Michael Pineda pitched a one run game into the eighth but we blew it and lost 4-2. Managed to win the next game 2-1 and the final game 15-7. David Aardsma sits at 55 Saves with just about 22 or so games to go. I've stopped letting my starters complete the game if its a three run or less ball game because I really want this record.

44-33 with the White Sox.
I've just played the serie vs the Cubs @ Cellular field.
I won the serie 2-1. The first two games were "come from behind wins" in the 8th inning.
The last game however was a blowout.
I lost 11-0.

Dunn is my best player with already 28 HR.
Beckham and Morel have the best avg of the team, in the .290 range.
Quentin had a rough start in April through mid-May (.180 avg). He's back in the .230-.240 avg and starts to hit HR.
I've called up A prospect D. Viciedo to play in RF.

Gavin Floyd is my best pitcher with a 2.78 ERA. (in his last 5 games, 3 CG, 2 SHO, 42.1 IP, 4 ER)
Crain, Pena and Thornton are doing a very good job @ the end of the pen.
I recently demoted to AAA Chris Sale who blew too many opportunities. I decided to call up J. Nunez (A pot) to fill the spot.

I've pulled out some trades :

#1:
Rios was struggling. Pierre too (and I can't stand his girl's arm).
M. Bourn was available, so I decided to jump on him.

White Sox sends A. Rios (and a team-friendly contract for 3 more years) and 2 A SP prospects
Houston sends M. Bourn

#2:
A. Ramirez is out for 3 months (his second stint on the DL this year ; he had played only 8 games!)
G. Beckham is out for 3 months too
And my bench or AAA players are all struggling (Vizquel, Teahen, Escobar, Lillibridge)
so

White Sox sends A RP prospect
Colorado sends 2B Jose Lopez and a C SS prospect

#3: (White Sox fans will kill me but I can't pitch with this guy )

White Sox sends M. Buerhle (5.90 ERA 3 QS in 15 starts)
NYY sends C SP prospect

So here's my line up so far:

RF D. Viciedo
C AJ Perzinsky

SS O. Vizquel - B. Lillibridge

I'm in first place in the division, 2 games ahead Detroit, 3 games ahead Minny and KC.

Miguel Cabrera is on pace to hit 60+ HR, 160+ RBI and has a .360 avg so far. He seems to be on the AL MVP contention in every one franchise.

random franchise question: does anyone else edit current player's rating during season based on their real life performance (making Adam Dunn worse, Matt Kemp better etc) or edit generic rookies so that your team's rookies are in there (even with the awesome Knight rosters)?

I have a tendancy to do so if im bored lol

I don't. I feel like I would have to edit my own team if I do other teams. Lowering Adam Dunn might really hurt the White Sox, so I feel like I should also edit the other teams in that division to even it out and that just takes too long.

i was playing in my season and i had played a few games when my foot stepped on my extension cord and my playstation shut down

im so mad

i might just quit the show for this year and start doing a madden franchise next week
