I just got The Show 09, so I'll post that.

Since there is no roster support for it anymore, I had to use the out of the box rosters which means Manny Ramirez is a free agent. This is after Mannywood too. So, I picked the Orioles and signed him as a free agent. It seemed like a very Oriole move.

The first game I played was at home against the Yankees and it was completely awesome. It took me a while to figure out you'll have no chance at hitting unless you guess pitches, but when I finally did I became way more selective, and I ultimately chased CC Sabathia in the 6th immediately after a Manny Ramirez 422ft HR to straight away center. When I hit the HR, Manny stood at the plate with his arms up long past the ball clearing the fence. VINTAGE!!!

Chris Ray (I think) ended up with the blown save/win stat combo.

I'm not going to be posting many updates, but I just wanted to chime in because of how much fun opening day was to beat the Yankees 8-5.

despite having a nice fantasy draft team in 11

im having more fun on my psp in the show 10 in a blue jays season just finished april and am 17-11...it out of the box rostersw so randy ruiz is a beast..and I LOVE PITCHING WITH JESSE CARLSON

I just lost Aramis Ramirez for 1-2 months in my Cubs franchise. So I traded 2 prospects and Scott Hairston for Danny Valencia and Marcus Thames.Have a 6 game lead in the central at 26- 12 in the 2nd week in May.

SP Matt Moore- acquired by trading two b pot prospects
SP Zach Hensley- former first rounder who is ok, doesn't have much of a future

I have Clay Kimbrell, Drew Stores, Lesly Wright, Renyel Pinto, Bud Norris, JefJeff Fulichino and that rp currently on the Yankees who has a lot of ks and was an all star

UUsing the Astros has been a tough rebuilding project though. Through four seasons I have only finished over. 500 once and never made the playoffs. In 2014 I had a great rotation and an average offense but finished under. 500 Once again due to having a terrible bullpen.

Game 2 against the Yankees. I was tied 1-1 in the bottom of the 9th. Manny hit a line drive double into the gap, and I pinch ran for him, then it was either Huff or Scott who doubled down the line in right for my first walk off hit.

This game is a friggin blast!!!
