He was my best pitcher in 2012...but recall my team was god awful so his stats were inflated a bit due to that. His W/L (which doesn't mean much) was awful. However he did sport an ERA around 3.10-3.20 with about 200K and a BAA around .240 which isn't bad. WHIP was a little higher than this year, but not much.

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Arright I need some advice. I'm the Pirates and I'm in 1st place at the AS break. My pitching and defense are horrible however.
Baltimore signed Oswalt from the FA pool and I was thinking about trading for Hardy and Oswalt. What would be fair?
And if I make this deal, would it be unrealistic to turn around and get Ubaldo? I don't want to go too crazy, but the Pirates haven't been to the playoffs in 20 years and I want to go all in and try to make a run.Comment

Well Oswalt is 34 and near the end of his career. And Baltimore is completely out of it. Sometimes you see teams sign a free agent in the Spring so they can flip them at the deadline for a younger player.Comment

Nah they signed him in the Spring and he's pitching pretty well for them. 2 high Bs for him and Hardy?Comment

God I love the Vita! Checking it out while I watch basketball!
Oswalt is 5-1 with a 2.29 ERA, 44 strikeouts in 55 innings.
Hardy is hitting .289 with 15 HRs and 50 RBI.Comment

DEFINITELY KC.... Toronto for Dan Norris (I know he's an A but he's the lowest A so it's fine)... That'd be the most epic Norris-for-Norris deal ever. SO MANY CHUCK NORRIS JOKES!"Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Toronto's pitching seems alright to me, but KC for sure. I definitely need a couple hitters to help restock my system, as Juicin' won't be able to keep up a 31 HR pace for much longer. Not to mention that I've got CJ at 3rd. Could definitely use a quality reliever (as you may know)Check out my Houston Astros Dynasties:

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Cheslor Cuthbert and John Lamb along with something else?? Or is Lamb still an A for whatever reason?
EDIT: If Lamb is still an A, Yordano Ventura and JC Sulbaran are options, I guess.Last edited by AC; 10-31-2012, 09:55 PM."Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
I'm using Scott's rosters but modified to just before opening day (the early game overseas). Teams completely out of it are Brewers, Mariners, Astros, and Royals. Marlins, Rays, and Tigers are on the cusp...
I could use a lefty LF to platoon and was thinking Aoki. What is he worth and who might fill their needs?
Also, I will be needing a 3B. Anyone remember what LAD gave up for Hanley Ramirez or can give a suggestion? I'd prefer a lefty hitter, though, most of my line-up is right handed.Comment
