I might have to agree with you. After winning 14-0 in game 1 and hitting 9 homers, I’m up 9-1 in game 2 after 4 innings, on 11 hits and 3 more homers. In 13 innings Judge has 4 homers and Voit has 3. Yes, it’s the Orioles and their 30th ranked pitching. Yes, it’s only 13 innings. But still seems that increasing human timing and power to 6 are too much. The Orioles got 5 hits in game 1 - only 1 extra base hit. In game 2 after 4 innings they have 2 hits including a solo homer. I’m going to put timing, power and solid hits back to default for both human and cpu. And yes, I will likely start my franchise over again

You need to be patient. I blasted the O’s the other day 17 runs on 17 hits and 4 HR’s. Their pitching staff sucks!!!!!

Next game at KC I win 4-2.

Trust the settings over the course of an entire 162 game season man.

Also you need to understand I want a fun factor built in. Timing and power at 6 opened up the offense just enough to get the variety of games I always expect. HOF this cycle was not as easy to tune sliders to as the last few cycles due to the gameplay adjustments they made.

Stick with it. You will go cold. Believe me you will. And wait till you face real deal pitching.

And for the love of God and all that is holy.......don't restart.

One thing that can not be overlooked is the status of your opponent. For example, some teams you play may be in a cold or hot streak. So they may play out of their minds good or completely awful..which can not be fixed with any slider adjustments....a lesson I have learned is to NOT immediately change the sliders in an attempt to 'chase the dragon'. Let it ride. For example, I have settled on HOF and my pitching sliders at 4-4 and the CPU hitting at default except for fouls, which is at 3....clean screen and no vibration. I am currently 12 games into my season (6-6) and have the second best ERA and have given up the 2nd least runs. Small sample size, but I was so tempted to change my control to 3 or increase their solid hits or contact. On the other hand, I am in lower third of all statistical categories except home runs, which I'm in top 10. .....12 games is not enough to chase the dragon. I have a feeling I'm going to run into a buzz saw offense that will humble me soon. Once I do, I very well could go cold pitching and fall back to the middle of the pack...

My thoughts on Armors set (now that they are perfect) is set and forget. Enjoy the season. After 162 played games no matter the end record, you will be amazed.

Sorry, too late on the starting over thing. I hate myself for hitting the delete button. I will go back to using your sliders as they are on the OP (as I always have) and just play the game. I PROMISE I will not start over again! I’ll post the results of my first game against the Orioles. I doubt I will hit 9 homers again. Thanks for the pep talk and all the work you put in developing your slider set!! Looking forward to starting my franchise (again) today (I took the day off work)

So those of you who know me will know that I’ve been playing an Astros carry over franchise since MLB 17.

I’m not planning to stop playing that one anytime soon but I want to start one with my Royals on 19 to play alongside so I wanted to ask those who have started on 19 what is the best roster to use at the minute and/or is there one coming out soon that I should wait for?

I haven’t been following the roster threads very closely this year so thought some of you guys here may have a better idea.

I haven’t been following the roster threads very closely this year so thought some of you guys here may have a better idea.

PSN ScottSFA has a v2 (equipment) of Ridins full minor roster that I have been using that is really good. It's a 40 man.

If you feel the need to do a full minors roster, Ridin is doing a V3 roster; pretty sure it is coming out very soon (like today/tomorrow-ish).

(Personally, I find the SDS base rosters to be way more fun and engaging...but that's just me)

I really wish I could roll with SDS default but I just can't. For me, the roster has to be fully fictional or fully real. I can't have a mix, my OCD won't allow it lol
