I wasnt aiming that at you. Just making sure we give out accurate info. The floor is not always perfectly balanced. Sometimes 1 side of the floor is overloaded or there are 4 on the baseline or 4 out high. Get what i am saying?

Of course, no offense taken, no need to worry. Just citing my source. I added your comment to the description. I'm not interested in being right, just in getting it right.

The idea here is to differentiate between them and know when each is best used.

I'm filling some stuff from my own notes from OG's stream:
        • Push off line:
        • Boxes & Elbows: Two guys on elbows, two on block. Man concept. Make offensive player see bodies. Used to stop stars. Would not use when there are a lot of shooters. Looks like a zone but a man concept with lots of distance from other players. You see a lot of one pass away help, giving up the shot elsewhere. If a guy isolates up top a lot then this is an option online. (From alabamarob: "Boxes and elbows doesn't have to be 2 guys on block and 2 on elbows. The defender will stand on edge of the paint parallel with the person he is guarding. Its not a box in one. The floor is not always perfectly balanced. Sometimes 1 side of the floor is overloaded or there are 4 on the baseline or 4 out high.")
        • Nothing Inside:
        • Force Drive:
        • Force Jumper:
        • Play Physical: Smother, go under, force them to shoot.
        • Make Him Score:
        • Give it Up: Smothering the ball, trailing over top of ball screen, blitzing ball screens and double teaming the drive, but not double off the catch.
        • Stay Home: Don't give help. While play tight still has some help principles, Stay doesn't.
        • Make Him Work: Deny off ball, jump out hard on screen, go over top on ball screens, smothering on ball, deny off ball
        • Straight Up: Moderate on and off ball.
        • Shrink the Floor: Off ball gap, go under, hard hedge.
        • No Three's:
        • Switch Everything: (I assume this is switch all on ball and off ball screens, but OG didn't specifically say)
        • Junk: Show 3-2 or 2-3 zone & go to man on the first pass.
        • Focus on Stars: Pressure on them, doubles. (not sure exactly what he meant by "pressure" in terms of settings, could include a lot of things).

        What about the rest?

Also please check to see if what I have here is right, or add more detail to whatever.
Scott, may I make a suggestion if and when you stream. Please, Please don't take questions, first and foremost can you go over these ACE Packages. Select a package let it run for a play or two, and then go to instant replay to show us how it plays out. Answering questions has a tendency to be all over the place and make the stream look disjointed.

Does anyone know if visual concepts talked about getting ACE to stick and highlight during time outs and on the fly?

If ACE is on for your team, does it ever change? Seems like it always the same and it never changes.

CAn someone tell me how I fix the problem of my defense not getting back to stop the easy bucket. There's always an opponent running down court to under the basket wide open and nobody is there to stop it. Happens at random and there just doesn't seem like anything I can do. Any slider or any advice appreciated!

I literally switch to my center and run back every time one of my offensive possessions ends. I run him into the paint and then switch off of him. Once you get him between his man and the basket, it is generally safe to switch off. Sometimes I'll do the same thing with one of my wings if I see them lolli-gagging back.

During the middle of defensive possessions, I'm always trying to watch my off-ball defenders to see if they are between their man and the basket to stop the cheesy inside passes. If they are not, I'll quickly switch over to them and get them in place.

I also try to keep an eye out for the off-ball contact animations when they are happening close to the basket. For some reason, the CPU defenders on my team seem to go brain dead for a second after one of these animations end so I try to prevent any easy baskets this way as well.

I wasn't aware of this, I just thought maybe it's the body chucks and then this happened "A Madden Warp Momment" and now that I have seen it, I see it all the time and now I know why the CPU is open off screens so much.
I can't unsee it, and it pisses me off. I have to switch to that man and running him off picks manually.

The way they move and stop your defenders subtlety to get open shots is the worst. Add that with the fact that every cpu pass is 100 percent accurate and you get irritation. Ha

Pure cpu cheese tactics. No matter who good your defense is, they will find ways to jerk you by using cheese like the one above. Sometimes your players gets flat footed out of nowhere allowing some space for a jumpshot. Getting caught in the wrong animations and sliding around on defense.

This is a LOT to soak in but GREAT!! I feel like I was pretty good with these settings in 2K16 but they are much more complex this go-round. For the betterment of the gameplay, of course.

I know every team is different & every team you play against but are there some definite settings that should absolutely be changed for every team? Also, are timeout changes like "stay home" sticking? On one of my last games I noticed I switched back to auto but maybe I was toying with too many settings in the gameplay menu.
